The Strictly Come Dancing 2014 professionals wonât include James Jordan, itâs been claimed.
The controversial dancer, who has a history with clashing with the judges, has reportedly been axed by show bosses, despite wife and fellow Strictly pro Ola Jordan being invited back.
âThe BBC have decided they donât want James as a high-profile dancer this year,â a source claimed today. âThey have taken a look at who they have and who fits the bill best. Frankly the BBC are sick of the James and Ola show.â
Needless to say, James isnât too happy after spending eight years on the show.
Speaking to the Daily Mirror, the insider explained: âHe is fuming. He very much sees himself and Ola as the stars of the show and canât understand why he hasnât been invited back.
âHe has spent years working with them and feels he has given so much. This has come as a real shock to him.â
They added: âTo say it all kicked off at the end of last week would be an Âunderstatement. This really has not gone down very well at all.â
The newspaper goes on to suggest that Ola may not quit the show too in a bid to stand by her man.
âOla loves Strictly but she is in a real quandary. She and James are a partnership,â a pal of the performerâs said. âSo for one to do the show and the other not is strange and sad for her.â
A spokesperson for the BBC commented: âWe donât comment on speculation and the line-up will be announced in due course.â
