I always think of broth containing pearl barley and chunks of stuff like my mum used to make. I prefer soup. I do a lovely butternut squash and chilli soup.

You can't beat a nice, big bowl of homemade soup or broth, especially in this weather.

I love a bowl of homemade broth. No-one could ever beat my Granny who used to make somevery week and always gave me some in a flask to take home every weekend. Her lentil soup was the best *drools*
Mrs Joe willn't throw a single thing away and even saves water from cooking as stock. This is the time of year for various soups/ broths which always contain leeks.

Nothing better in this weather.
I love when I go to Scotland my sister broth/soups are fab even the cafes make homemade soups
I eat them out of a tin these days
