Well what a letdown that was IMO the writer is great at scene setting ....and setting up threads that go nowhere .... but poor at the denouement .....
As I said before, it went on and on. Vera and her faux geordies would have had it done and dusted in a couple of hours.

Oh well: I seem to have been the only one who liked the ending of "Broadchurch".
I thought it was well-done in tying-up all the all the threads in a satisfying conclusion (well, satisfying for me, anyway). Heck, even those plot strands involving both Miller and Hardy's children - which had previously appeared to be just background "colour" - turned out to be connected to the case!

I thought it was well-done in tying-up all the all the threads in a satisfying conclusion (well, satisfying for me, anyway). I loved the series but thought the last 15 minutes was a bit rushed.
I thought Andrew Buchan (Mark Latimer) was fantastic!
I thought the whole of the last episode was rushed....and the outcome quite predictable ....which was a shame cos I enjoyed the rest of the series .
