Shame Emmerdale didn't get more, think Arrons storyline has been good  can't believe Eastenders got so many

Yayyyy!!  At last Doctors is getting the recognition that it deserves.  Gutted that Emmerdale has only got one award though, it has been consistently good for the last year or so.

I am disappointed for Emmerdale can never understand why EE wins best soap,I love Corrie it is my fav soap but Emmerdale has been the best for a very long time,  would have loved to have seen them win best soap they would have deserved it IMO..

I agree with you Marguerita, I don't understand how EE wins so many awards.
Emmerdale has been brilliant this year, especially the Aaron storyline, so how did they end up with just one award?
Corrie is my favourite too, Marg.

Because they are good at what they do like Corrie and Emmerdale, shame for ED only ending up with one award but hopefully they will continue to improve and do better next time.


At least Corrie didn't win best soap, this only judging on what has been a poor year for them and in your face Kym Marsh, the exact same words she said about EE when Corrie won at the NTA.

I can't believe Scott Maslan won best Actor, I suspect lots of female voted for him!!! The guy who plays Aaron in Emmerdale is far superior IMO....

I actually hated the 'Who killed Archie' storyline....what a yawnfest....it dragged on for far too long, what with Peggys crap acting as well...I admit Corrie hasn't been on form of late, but Emmerdale deserved it IMO....

I hate Enders and haven't watched it for years, but every time I catch a snippet of it, it's the same. Ugly people who all look like they good a good wash, shouting at each other. Awful..

I also think the wardrobe department dont spend much either on any of their clothes

I don't know why EE win as many every year  I like corrie and emerdale better
   EE is soooo depressing now.I think it's just the younger peeps who vote  and that's how they always win

Blanche gets buried tonight.. There's also a tribute show to the actress Maggie Jones who played her tonight at 8.00 on ITV,between corrie episodes.
Expect some  classic Blanche moments.

Made a point of trying to watch the omnibus edition.  Doom, gloom, shouty, bluds, abortions, fires, car crashes, dysfunctional families/doomed relationships, dogs who poo outwith the gutter, laundromat at 3 quid a go (??? daylight robbery)    with daft names like  sha sha with blue hair streaks? Fat boy who drives an ice cream van and does clubs[?] 2 old biddies about 80 yrs old fighting over a decrepit playboy???  Persevered after switching sub titles on.....what a load of bollux!     Phoned a REAL  cockney E ender and they had loads to say about it winning ANYthing,  and they agreed it's cack.   I understood every swear word point they were making, it was a very clear line.
