It is impossible to find your way out of that place.

The trick is to go straight at every roundabout.......they do end eventually.

I lived in Milton Keynes for two years, before I learnt to drive. It may be a nightmare for drivers...... but it's an amazing place for cyclists! Plus it's very green and very clean. I kinda still miss it, it felt like living in The Truman Show.

It is a surreal place Ducky and yes incredibly clean.  Its just that all the roads look alike.

It's all a bit plastic though...I know it's a new town so there's no historical buildings (unless Northern Rock is there ) it just had no character when I used to go there. Plus the M1 was an absolute shit sometimes!

Weirdly, leccy, I like a dock area because of the history of it all and we don't have much of the originals left. I love the old buildings, shame they are being turned into luxury livingspace insted of museums. I love old canals that should be revived and the old mines in Cornwall and Devon which, unfortunately, are out of work.

I love that. I know we could be flippant and say 'how nice the old days were'. We know they mainly weren't, but at the same time there is something there that we have lost now. Family, community etc.
