Well, at least Julian came in a respectable third.
I'd have loved Susan to win as payback for nasty press but I'm also happy for Diversity, well done everyone, good show this year

Worthy winners

Fantastic - nice kids, and great act. They need to sort out the production a bit though (BGT I mean) You could hardly see them for the tickertape falling!

I think she'll do well anyway, probably best for her she didn't win, there would have been more of a backlash I think if she had. She did look genuinely pleased for Diversity .

they MUST have had the pyros set up BEFORE the results were given, I mean they wouldntve been any use to any of the other acts,
but then IF another act HAD won, they wouldnt use em I suppose.....but STILL eh?

At least the press will hopefully lay off her now, she didn't deserve that and all the viscious flack thrown at her. I really hope she does well and I'm sure she will. Yes She was genuinely pleased for them

Bye for now everyone and thanks for all the laughs this week.

Sure does - I'm looking forward to posting about BB, without (hopefully) the forum slowing to a standstill and threads disappearing as fast as they're started.
I wonder if they will put Susan Boyle in the RVP anyway
Simon's just announced that he has had a call from Prince Albert of Monaco who wishes to book Diversity for the next Red Cross Ball.
Looks like they're off to a good start. That will be a great first booking.

Did anyone else lipread Amanda saying "Diversity" to Piers, when she was the only judge standing, just before the camera panned to Ant and Dec for the result announcement?

Me too, I think Susan will have a wonderful career ahead of her anyway. At least this way the pressure is off her shoulders and she will come back when she is ready to cope with fame and fortune.
But, I am worried that she will be off to America and her poor little cat will be left behind, who will take care of her little cat.

And I did think they were deserving winners. How many hundreds of hours did Diversity and Flawless put in to come up with those performances.

i'm not sure Susan really wants a wonderful career. she has had her well deserved moment of fame .........she looked stressed tonight and didn't seem to enjoy performing. There is no doubt that she has a wonderful talent but ........perhaps she was happier with life as it once was. A career in the spot light really isn't for everyone.

Some youths have totally lost it and are scary as they are killing each other and those of an adult age either by the knife, gun or viscious beatings of whatever source they use.
Many youths are angry at life, whether theirs or what they perceive life is about and have no care for it, others, or themselves, sad times we live in when many youths are dictating the worse side of life and them.
