This is an old clip and a bit long but I'd love some of you to watch it. It kind of sums up Susan Boyles experience.

don't know but I only found out last night that she was deprived of oxygen at birth, I did think she was a bit eccentric. She's been put in an odd position via this competitition

My main question is WHO THE HELL voted for the Richard Clayderman type saxaphone player??? What WERE they thinking? Have they never passed a street busker in their life before???

Great post Storm on page 301. Clapping Like you I don’t think she was annoyed that she didn’t win. If anything she looked relieved thinking it will all stop being so personal. But, little did she know that it would not stop the vicious tongues from wagging. To tell the truth I secretly wished she wouldn’t win so she can start again in a while with the right PR working for her. Frowner

I did and I've also passed many a street busker who certainly weren't of the same calibre or, indeed, in his league!!

Julian Smith was simply sensational.

Well whilst I agree that he didn't exactly play difficult tunes, what he did play, he played well enough. Although he wasn't anything particuarly outstanding, I thought what talent he did have completely outclassed anything else on the show. I'm still trying to understand the entertainment value in the fat father and son wobbling round the stage, the devil brat from hell, or the grandad and his daughter.

I reckon SuBo will be fine, targetting (say) America. I think Hollie is destined for the West End now as I can see an "As Seen On BGT" on a bill poster in my mind's eye. Stavros is just a novelty act and I think they'll have a few bookings out of this. Not sure about Aidan, he's good but street-dancing is a niche thingy I think. He'll get some PAs for a while. 2 Grand ... immediate obscurity.
