But, one of the pretty boy or group singers will win.

I am surprised that somebody with her talent would want to lower herself to appearing on a Cowell show. Let's hope it does not hinder her career.

Winning would help her.

I feel the same, but Simon still shouldn't have buzzed them in the final.

I thought that was the point, the panel buzzed when they were fed up of the act. I've seen them do it before.

Not in the final though .....................it's very off putting and at this stage completely unnecessary IMO.

I feel if the acts are good enough to earn a place in the final, they deserve the  right to perform their act without being distracted by the buzzer. Just my opinion though.

Is it in the rules that the buzzers should not be used by the judges or is it just FM's personal opinions? (I don't know myself hence the question).

But could Cowell be using it to influence the winner, much the same way as he does with negative comments?

That makes sense.

Judges can buzz in the final but rarely do, and I have no doubt that Cowell buzzed to influence viewers.

Who is BGT? Why would this 'BGT' prefer one act to win over another?

What type of act is most marketable?

Where can the Cowell machine extract most cash?

BGT is Simon Cowell, and he loves singers the most, he can earn big money from them more than variety acts.

What like the dog act that won? I really don't buy that at all TBH.

I think people like different things - some are more popular with a majority. I think there are some people who will scream fix simply because they prefer someone who isn't liked by the majority.

BGT is a cash prize and an opportunity to perform at the Royal Variety - Simon can take his pick and market who he likes - it's not about who wins.

Edit: I should have added that my reference to 'The Cowell Machine' IS BGT.

Bit funny how all the singing acts are back to back near the end of the show, just before the voting starts.

BTW, Simon loves dog acts too.
