Hi Kathy nice to see you again. I am sorry you are feeling down today, but hope all the nice comments about brisket have given you some comfort x
Have you been reading some of his threads and posts? I realise it may be hard for you just now, but when you are ready do have a good read, it may make you feel a bit closer to him.
Take care
Hi Kathy, Im sorry you`re feeling at a low ebb today.
Perfectly understandable, brisket was such a special person.
Pop in to see us anytime. We`re here for you.
Bye for now Kathy. Take care xxx
Hi Kathy
Sorry you are feeling particularly down today Some days you will be able to smile when you think about Brisket, other days it will upset you more
You seem to have been a lovely friend and I am sure he considered himself very lucky to have you in his life
Please call in here anytime you feel down, there are a lot of members here who miss him and, as they say, its good to talk
Hope you wake up feeling better tomorrow xx
Awwww Kathy I am sorry you are feeling down.... it must be very hard for you.... and it is still early days But you are always welcome on here. Brisket was a very special person (as you know even better thn we do), and has touched so many of our lives. I have to admit that I think of brisket every night as I listen to the Archers.... and imagine the conversation we would have about the storylines... usually *constructive criticism* of course Anyway, I hope you feel a little better now, and please come visit us often
Kathy . So sorry that you're feeling down - lovely to see you though. Don't be a stranger - you'll always have a warm welcome on here.
Kathy, we were all so lucky to have known Brisket and still feel his loss, but it must be even harder for you.
Please drop into the forum to talk about Brisket (or just for a natter) any time you want. I'm sure Brisket would be happy to know his RL friend and his forum friends were keeping in touch.
Still missing your posts brisket...
Kathy....
I thought of brisket today - there was a gaggle of hairdressing students in the college I work at sitting on a bench, and they were all footering with their hair and doing that leg thing. It wouldn't usually bother me but I caught myself getting indignant on brisket's behalf

I know what you mean.
The other day, my daughter sat on the kitchen worktop and jiggled her leg.
Immediately, brisket came to mind!
I'm feeling particularly low today about the loss of my friend. All sorts of things remind me of him - some of the things you've mentioned too, like Big Brother, and the Archers.
I don't see anyone day to day who knew him, so coming onto this forum today gives me such a warm feeling. They way you talk about him shows what a big part of his life you all were. I found it strange at his funeral that in the eulogy the vicar said what a private person he was, and how little people knew about him.
He was private in some ways, but I didn't think he was difficult to get to know, and obviously all of you felt that too. The way you describe him is how he really was - the picture you paint has far more in common with the man that he was than the way he was talked about at his funeral and by his family.
His closest friends were separated from him by distance, so you were his day to day friends. Just as you describe the impact he had on your life, I think the impact you all made on his was perhaps even more.
The lovely things you've written have helped me, but it's not easy, is it.
xx
Kathy, so sorry to hear you were feeling so low!
Just had to say, what a lovely post.
Kathy I miss brisket and think of him often,I cant imagine how difficult it is for you.I am glad that this forum gives you some comfort.
Just tonight I was working around the house and I heard an announcement on the television about a show coming soon .Its called Hollywoods greatest and I thought of brisket straight away.
I was thinking about how we will miss Briskets comments with the new BB starting tonight.
He had such a way with words that I found myself getting irate at some of them and I haven't even watched the last few series
Brisket
There's lots of flicky, long hair in there!
For brisket.
And SCD starting too ........................sad that brisket is no longer here to share his thoughts and make us laugh.
I watched Strictly tonight and kept thinking of brisket

I thought of brisket last night whilst watching the US Open semi-final between Federer and Djokovic, it was a 5-set thriller, and he would have loved it.
My local butchers always has Brisket on offer in the window it always makes me chuckle when i pass

Hey all - my first log-in in a long time.
This is awful news I never did get to know Brisket on a personal level, but I remember his posts well from the BBGF days etc...always a great thread starter.
RIP.
Just voted on the NTA (National TV Awards ) Missed seeing brisket putting up the thread
It would be nice to hear from Kathy ,if she reads this hope your well
I rarely come in here I think of brisket when I log onto the forum...I remember Hoochie's idea to get Mario to do the hiya brisket poster when me and Hoochie were on the ghost hunt with the BB housemates.... I still have the pictures on my phone and looked at them today, I don't think anyone will ever fill briskets place on the forum I miss the gentleman and he was
I don't really know what to say...
I haven't posted here for many, many months and today I popped by to see how everyone was doing - I noticed briskets red rose as the wallpaper... I wondered why? I then had a strange feeling why... I saw at the top a post by Lori... and the dreadfully sad news hit me
I didn't post much but if anyone asked me to name a forum member in Gaga, brisket would be one name I would have immediately said and his avatar is one I will always remember.
I'm sat here in tears. Tears for a dignified, kind, intelligent, funny, caring and inspirational man who I only knew as a forum member but it still feels like I knew him...
As many of you know I have had some dreadful losses and the feeling of sadness when anyone dies is immense. I'm way too emotional for my own good.
Lori and the team - How very kind and touching it was that you sent the red roses for briskets funeral (which happened to be on my birthday ) - So very thoughtful and kind!
Kathy - I'm so sorry for your loss - my condolences to you and the family - Sorry it's at such a late date to send my condolences.
Xochi - Hun I'm so very sorry to hear about the sad loss of your mum - My condolences to you and your family too I hope you are doing OK?
I'm going to spend a while reading the rest of the thread. So very sad right now...
Love Lazybug xxx
Hi, Lazybug:
First of all, welcome back! I'm sorry this is the news you got when you came back.
We all miss brisket, as you can no doubt see from this thread. While we've had more time than you to get used to his absence, we've found ways to make sure he sticks around.
For various reasons I've not been here for a few months. When I opened this thread I was and still am totally shocked and upset by the news of brisket's passing. He was such a wonderful human being and a delight to communicate with. I'm too shocked and upset right now to add any more of what I observed about him in a very positive way. Much Love to his family, friends and all who grieve his loss, my thoughts are with you xxxxxxxxxxxx
Brisket, forever in our hearts.

I've been thinking of Brisket a lot lately.
We've just got Freeview (finally!) and I've discovered the selling stuff channels particularly the jewellery ones.
They have a really irritating habit when selling rings. They put a ring on their finger that is way too big and then sit using their thumb to fiddle with it - obviously to show the sparkle.
Drives me mad and as I watch it I just know that Brisket would be similarly irritated
Miss you Brisket
Thinking of brisket a lot at the moment. Just a few weeks now until my next baby is due and I can't help but remember how lovely he was to me the first time round. Hope you're keeping an eye on us all up there brisket, we miss you very much. xxx
Happy Birthday to Kathy, I've just noticed it's her birthday today.
Hope you're well Kathy and that you have a lovely day.
I still think of brisket often.
