Only just had time to read all the posts on here and can't believe how upset I feel. I haven't been on here much lately, but I remember bristket with great affection - as does everyone else on here it seems - what a great community.

A gentle breeze swept through the forum
Bringing fun with a sense of decorum
Odes to Rodrigo's pants
Or his legendary rants
Couldn't fail to bring smiles, when you saw'em.
With his quizzes our forum enhancing
And his comments on Strictly Come Dancing
He pleasured us more so
Than a weatherman's torso
Without any preening, or prancing.
My rhyming skills might take the biscuit
But to honour such friendship, I'll risk it
To think slow, gentle heat
On this strong cut of meat
Gives us something so tender as brisket.

I'm not coping very well at all. I liked him so much, it's like losing a friend in real life. I've told friends of mine who are around me and I've burst into tears every time. It seems such a strange thing to do, but brisket has been in my life for years. It's not easy.

I know how you feel! My daughter thinks I'm mental but ..............my husband sort of understands. TBH - I cam see why people think it's mad but ...........they're not us are they? We do live our own little world in here ................I hadn't realised until this happened. For all the rows and fall outs and everything else - we are a community - we are friends. That's how it is - why else would we log in day after day?

This is so true - i feel closer to some peeps in here than RL friends and colleagues i have known for years and Briskets death has affected me terribly

I still can't quite believe it..brisket was, well, brisket...unique....I cannot remember a time when he was not around, he's always been here and he will be missed so much....
