Beautiful!

I've finished my limerick. I hope it's appropriate and doesn't offend.

A gentle breeze swept through the forum

Bringing fun with a sense of decorum

Odes to Rodrigo's pants

Or his legendary rants

Couldn't fail to bring smiles, when you saw'em.

With his quizzes our forum enhancing

And his comments on Strictly Come Dancing

He pleasured us more so

Than a weatherman's torso

Without any preening, or prancing.

My rhyming skills might take the biscuit

But to honour such friendship, I'll risk it

To think slow, gentle heat

On this strong cut of meat

Gives us something so tender as brisket.

Lovely limericks. "Smashing" as a certain friend of mine used to say.

Looks to me as if you write your best stuff when "slightly worse for wear".

Don't we all? Lovely words Blizz - I'm sure he would have been highly amused (and more than a little touched) By that

I know how you feel! My daughter thinks I'm mental but ..............my husband sort of understands. TBH - I cam see why people think it's mad but ...........they're not us are they? We do live our own little world in here ................I hadn't realised until this happened. For all the rows and fall outs and everything else - we are a community - we are friends. That's how it is - why else would we log in day after day?

to all of you:

I can only assume it gets better.

I wanted to let you all know that I've arranged to have a beautiful sheaf of red roses delivered on behalf of us, in time for the funeral services, which are on Tuesday. Should be obvious why I chose red roses, right?

I've also made a personal donation to the British Heart Foundation, in his honor.

That's lovely   I know it's on record here that i was wary/sceptical of the Live Cloud move (not Ga Ga- I loved it there).................however - I am touched and grateful that the folks in Seattle have been there and shared with us.

Thank you ..............it's nice to know that you don't see us a faceless individuals.

I agree Soozy Mr Baz understands, but I tried explaining it to a RL friend yesterday.... they were  totally bemused
