I lost my lovely sister to cancer five years ago. She was only 35 and left 4 small boys behind.They are still times when I burst into tears because I miss her so much and can't quite believe she is gone.Our mam died when we were kids from the same dreaded disease.
I have run in the Dublin Marathon every year since for the Cancer society and I truly believe that the society in Ireland and the UK do tremendous work.The Macmillan nureses are angels on earth.

Sadly, Cancer seems to be the one thing that has touched most peoples lives, and Fairfax, you are right about the MacMillan nurses, they are amazing
