My Fave Brekkie is as below.
6 Rashers of smoked streaky bacon.
2 sausages.
sliced fried mushrooms.
small tin of whole Toms.
2 slices of wholemeal toast.
Cup of tea.
-------------------
But better than that, if you can get it is this one.
A good sized piece of Salt Fish, soaked in cold water overnight.
4 rashers of smoked streaky bacon.
2 slices of wholemeal toast.
Cup of tea.
Yummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmy
That takes a bit of beating.

White pudding is quite cool
Oh yes... and fruit pudding too - too many items, not enough breakfasts.White pudding's not made of guts (and I don't know where profile gets 'fruity' from) It's oatmeal and onion. Not sure what's in 'Fruit pudding' it's stodgy and has sultanas and stuff in. Not to be confused with 'dumpling' btw.

Absolutely!!11!! The first course should always be porridge.
Followed by four slices of toast and marmalade and several pints of tea.
The above ingredients form the "all day breakfast" and you should never eat that at breakfast time.
Jackson, I couldn't agree more about the beans - it's just wrong for breakfast!
I do like a black pudding though.
My perfect cooked breakfast:
2 crispy rashers of bacon
Mushrooms fried in butter - not those tinned, boiled ones the hotels think you like!
Fried egg on white buttered toast
Black pudding.
Half a grilled tomato - to make it look healthy.

I used to lurve white pudding. .. doesn't seem to be the same as it was [many, many] years ago.. all bread no meat and no punch.. Have seen it occasionally in the UK but tisn't easy to find and is rubbish anyway. . butchers own home make was always the best
Hmmmmm, so white pudding and white dog poo are both harder to find than in the olden days.
Coincidence?

There must be different kinds of white pudding. The kind I like is just oats and onions with a bit of salt and pepper, a bit like that Scottish stuffing that I can never remember the name of. It's really moreish though and I make it for Sunday roast chicken all the time.

Gotta do a fried bread --> beans swap. The former sets my teeth on edge. The beans must be Branston or Sainsbury's own though. No watery Heinzes.
Branstons beans are my favourite!1 egg
1 sausage
1 bacon
Mushrooms
Branstons beans
1 slice of bread (fresh not fried)
No tomato (tomato is for salads!)
No black or white pudding
No potato products because then it just becomes tea!
Temps, we do have white pudding here, it's just as common as black (dunno if that's just a northern thing though?)
Edit and not at breakfast time! I can't face food for at least an hour or more.
My breakfast is 3 cups of black tea and as many tabs.

ohhh breakfast is a very different affair in my house. Our breakfast list consists of various selections and combinations of the following, depending on what day it is

eggs
cheese
tomatoes
peppers (hot ones)

I like peanut butter on toast or gravy on toast. Yes, I know it's strange. Sometimes if I do a sage and onion stuffing for Sunday dinner I will have leftover stuffing with gravy.
Leftover pizza - straight from the fridge is always good too.

Peanut butter on toast is my usual breakfast Suzi...but not at breakfast time.

Sausagesx2 (3 if they're little ones),
Baconx2,
Mushrooms (done in butter and balck pepper in a pot not fried in same pan as fry),
Scrambled egg
And beans.
Sometimes White pudding but never ever black pudding *bock*
Two slices of toast
Mug of tea.
De e lish. *licks lips*

The best peanut butter is Jif, from the states. My mom always brings me two big jars when she comes over. My son likes to dip raw carrots and celery in it.

Ooh funny you should say that...I did. I normally buy Asda's or Tesco's as Sunpat is not as it used to be.I bought Waitrose's....had a lovely flavour mind.

hummph!!! I was informed by a certain King of Bovril that you can't get white pudding in the UK, in fact he laughed when I mentioned it like I was mentioning spaghetti hoops on a breakfast plate or something Olly....I have only ever tasted Denny (irish brand) white pudding. In all my life it's the only white pudding I've ever had, and yum yum yum the flavour is just delicious. Get a bit of sausage, bit of egg and a bit of white pudding on your fork and oooooh it's just divine!
And him a geordie born lad an' all!
Mazzy said her butcher orders hers in...but round here it's readily available in all the butchers. A lot of local butchers do little trays of mixed grills and there is always a piece of white or black pudding in.

I hate black pudding, I cannot eat it at all, it's too stodgy for me, that I believe is all the blood and guts left over? White pudding is almost like a sausage in itself, but it's got alot more flavour to it, you use it in slices like the black pudding.

I don't actually know what's in it. I don't want to know because chances are I'd never eat it again. But my take on it is it's all the meat left over on the slaughter house floor?
