I could'nt eat a meal in bed, though I could'nt eat a meal in the living room either..we all eat at the dining table....

I do absolutely love the sentiment when my boys bring me breakfast in bed - on birthdays I get a cake with lit candles in bed too  - but to be honest I can't eat right away and would prefer to be up and about. I'd never dream of saying any of that though, so keep schtum!  

Breakfast in bed is, to me, like having a candlelit bath with a glass of wine.   The image is lovely, the reality is all uncomfy and just not right.   I don't even have a cuppa in bed.   That said, i'm not above getting up, pottering about, having breakie then going back to bed for a bit.

Yes - I agree with that. TBH - if I'm bought a tray in bed I think it brings back memories of being ill in bed as a child (not that I was often) but It's just not nice.

Right soozy... and i'd be sure to spill something on the covers too....

C'mon girls, there's nothing nicer than being woke up to a lovely juicy sausage been wafted under your nose. 

Tomorrow morning. Fry up. In bed.....yes please 

It won't happen though. I might get lucky on Sunday though 

Hubby and I have developed a habit of having breakfast in bed at the weekend but now he works 3 Saturday's out of 4 I prefer to have juice and or coffee in bed and then shower, dress and have brekkie downstairs! I don't like the crumbs in the bed (we have toast)

Yeh! Was about to say, the only times I've had breakfast in bed have been in hospital!
