Tom's friend (the fella) was on Coach Trip.  His name is Krishnan.

He was probably expecting BB to call them back and offer them a list of realistically priced stuff and he'd probably picked something, But Louise and Jay prevented that from happening and Aaron now got no chance of getting Tom and/or Alex a present.

 

Also remember that neither Alex nor Tom were given the opportunity to get the other a present. Why should Jay, Louise and Aaron have to give presents, yet Tom and Alex don't?

They all said no.Jay even asked for an Argos catalogue, because the cash needed for the presents was so out of touch with what anyone would normally spend on a present.Jay also joked with BB telling them to buy the gifts.

In all the other BB's (or most of them) only the winner comes out with money. To be given an unexpected windfall is all a bit of a game isn't it? Aaron will probably go on to win (and probably get £100,00) how tight was he to choose not to buy a present? If he has come out looking bad he really only has himself to blame FGS. Miserable barsteward - and to top it all he sulked and spoilt the party. It was Alex and Tom's birthday FGS - he could have turned it around and made a joke of it but NO .............he chose to sulk instead.

 

I really don't get what people see in him

I'm too tired to debate the pros and cons re Aaron - I'm off to bed.

Is it about money and presents etc. - or is it about who wants to join in and make the birthday party a bit special?

 

Was aaron up for that? Or was he worried about what the public were thinking and how people were being judged on the outside?

 

At the end of the day it was two peoples birthday - it's not what you buy - it's who makes it special and makes you feel good.

 

Aaron was far to worried about being made to look bad that he never even gave a thought to helping the party go with a swing, helping people enjoy their birthday and making it a night to remember.

 

And people think he's nice 

Well i'll still be voting for aaron regardless.... i have never in my life even THOUGHT about paying at least £500 on a birthday present for someone i have only known two months. If Aaron didn't want to look desperate by doing it, well good for him. The fact that the other two desperado's didn't even give him the choice when they decided to change their minds speaks volumes for them. They originally said no as well.... it would have been nice if they had gone to Aaron and said, 'look mate, we've had a change of mind and think it would be nice to get them something'., I'm sure Aaron would have said something along the lines of, 'well ok, lets wait and see what the next gift list comprises of and we'll see', they didn't. They did it very slyly and hoped to make him look bad, him turning the tables on them knocked them for six. Jay knows that Aaron may be right. Also i think i heard Jay and Louise saying they would never talk to him again and infact, Jay said he'd  punch im in the face if he wasn't in the house, so really you just knew that sulk is the only way left for him. Shame really for Alex and Tom, after all it was their birthdays and didn't even get the chance to buy each other anything.

If it comes back next year i hope they get themselves sorted and give us housemates we can all relate to, it's been pretty dire at times this year.

He put it on top of the casement when he moved Aaron's name to the 15K spot.

Why did Jay walk past Aaron ,say to Louise he wanted to speak to her and took her into the bathroom to discuss buying the gifts.Why did Jay not speak to louise when she was sitting on the sofa.....because Aaron was there.

Hi lovely people.

I knew I shouldn't have started watching BB again. I have no idea who or what is real in there anymore and that does include Aaron. I was in bed last night while it was on and I could hear Jay and Louise talking -it just sounded false.

But then I think Aaron and all his moans and groans in the DR is affected too.

I really do think that Tom is the only one who appears to be exactly what he says to be on the tin, but even he has his own shadows with his sexuality. And none of you like him because he is nasty to Aaron.

 

So I have made the decision to stop watching it. I simply don't care who wins anymore. I thought last years BB was pretty bad but this year beats it hands down. In the end it is a gameshow.

One thing though.... I bet you anything Aaron will do all the mag deals with Faye - whether he wins or not. I have not seen anything of him that would make me think he is too high principled. So when he does - I will be posting an "I told you so!".

I also think that he will win - even with all the stuff that has been going on this week.

If Aaron was worried about looking bad he could easily have put on a happy facade, he's intelligent and a BB fan, he would know full well that sulky behaviour is not good viewing. This is Aaron being real and genuine, and surviving in there the best way he can. As for the 'specialness of the birthdays if they were so precious surely they would not be in there, they would be with their loved ones.

Has Aaron ever said he wouldn't do mag deals Eileen? if he get's offered to do them then why not, you can bet Jay and Louise will be

I loved the way BB didn't show Louise and Jay AFTER they had bought the presents and were complaining about the cost and that Alex never share's her thing's 

Dont remember anyone suggesting Aaron would not do the mag deals,so no need for the "I told you so".

As for Tom they do get along most of the time ,I dislike Tom when he makes snidey remarks against Aaron without knowing the facts.

After watching last nights show I thought Louise and Jay were the ones who looked bad ..not Aaron,Jay saying what he would do if he was not in the house made him look like a real thug and louise smile when he said it just spoke volumes, she has a real nasty streak surfacing ... Aaron making it real ...Aaron to win  

Just for clarification.

People on here and on DS have suggested that they did not think that Aaron would be up for the mag deals with Faye. The "I told you "so was an attempt at a light hearted remark. I would not really come back and say " I told you so".

I do not have time to wade through all the threads to find out when it was said and why - I just remember reading it.
And on that note.. I really do wish you all happy BB and again apologise for anyone I may have offended because it really was not intentional  - we all get caught up in the moment.

Eileen....you come right back here and suffer with the rest of us. Just because you may be swimming against the tide as far as Aaron goes it does not give you leave to NOT suffer the rest of the dross with us all.

 

For what it's worth,: I for one , never at any time took the 'I told you so' remark as anything other than a light hearted toungue-in-cheek quip.

I'll quite happily help Fluffy drag you back, Eileen: how dare you leave us to suffer on our own!

 

FWIW, I just assumed your "I told you so" comment was a joke too.

 

On a mildly serious point, I'd be wary about jumping to any conclusions re "mag deals" this year: with all the cross-media connections that Dirty Desmond's been building up, there could be contractual requirements for all we know...

I replied to a post simple as that ,please dont make out I have attacked or made someone feel uncomfortable enough to leave the BB thread.

I am an Aaron supporter who has every right to voice my opinion.
