Supes
he had her pegged as someone who would be popular with the public, a good looking woman with an 'edge' (wrestler) and when he got in he didn't know how to get out when he realised otherwise, so he's playing it so the public still like him and see her as paranoid, needy and desperate. Truth is, he doesn't bloody like her and she has every right to feel insecure ......imcho

Supes - I sort of agree but not completely. I think it's a chicken and egg situation - if she'd just become insecure I might agree.. but from day one, she was playing the push away/pull him back game, constantly demanding that he define their relationship (when they'd known each other a matter of days!) and making him defend every comment he made, purposely (imo) misconstruing anything he did and said (as she did last night) to give her a reason to go in a strop and have him soothe and pet her and declare his love for her.
What I've seen of her from the very beginning is an extremely high maintenance, screwed up puppy - having seen the sister and the relationship there, I can imagine why she's got that way. I don't think he realised what he signed up for in the beginning and, right now I'm sure he regrets it. At worst I think he just doesn't want to dump her on national telly (if I'm being charitable I hope it's because he's trying to protect her), at best, maybe he actual does care about her and he's trying to reassure her. Personally I think he needs to run a mile.
