I think in response Aaron told him that he liked him - now to most people that would be as a friend but to Tom he's taken that as a green light that Aaron fancies him.

I'm sure with the benefit of hindsight Aaron would admit that he probably should have made it explicitly clear that he meant as friends but that he isn't gay or bi and would never see Tom in any other light except friendship??? 

Because he didn't want to say "In your dreams, Tom" and have Tom sulking and throwing strops for the next six weeks or so.

Surely the fact that aarin isn't gay and has never alluded to being gay or bi is enough isnn't it? You can 'like' someone as a friend and get on with them but it doesn't mean that you fancy them!

i have a gay son ............he has lots of straight friends - I'm pretty sure he loves their friendship but doesn't view them as possible boyfriend material.

I wonder if there is stuff we haven't seen - why was Faye so obsessed with telling aaron that she thought he may be gay or bi and was afraid of facing it - I haven't seen anything to suggest that .................without LF - HOW CAN WE TELL?

Morning peeps... i just watched this  this morning and I've made a decision.  Tthe next time I see George Clooney I'm not going to speak him and I'm going to tell him he's a prick and threaten to punch him in the face.    I fancy him you see and he's never actually told me to bugger off and stop being a stalker and I'm pretty sure he's kissed other women - using Tom's logic, I think that must be acceptable?

As for Faye... 'dog in the manger' doesn't come into it!   I'm not going to encourage your advances, but if you stop making them and try it on with someone else I'm going to be well miffed!
