You sorted out the last fiasco .......where are you now? I'd feel a whole lot better if you were endorsing this move to Live Cloud.

Bov is an fm same as everyone else Sooz....he has no control over this forum or over the move to Live Cloud. The decision is yours, do you like the Live Cloud set up? Do you want to move?

Well .......the thing is - I keep getting told that once we move it wont be that different. At the moment it looks very alien to me.
I know you're good mates with Bov ...........he hasn't been around for a while - I feel confident that he really and truly had a hand in saving our arses last time around ...........would feel a tad more confident if he endorsed this ........or is he now somewhere else?
Congratulations Incidentally) on your little bubba ...........he's gourgeous!

It's a different set up alright, but gaga will be moving over there eventually, so that should look a little more familiar.

OK Don't know how to get there but when the time comes I'll be doing my best breast stroke to get there. If it's good enough for Bov ......it's good enough for me.

I really didn't mean it to be accusing .................I'm not blaming. Just - a word from 'Our Captain' might instill something in those who are flagging and undecided.

If you've done all the registering stuff... go to 'Explore' on the black bar of the homepage. Click on 'Groups' in the dropdown menu. The Ship is the first group listed.
The Bar is listed under 'Forum Topics'. To post there, click on 'Join Group' ... wait a while and it should allow you post then. It's fun and the drinks are free!
Alternatively you can see what it's like through this link!

I'll be there when the time comes ........by hook or by crook. I'm not buying the free drinks shite though .............cyber drinking cuts no ice with me
Please be careful not to put a lot of pressure on Bov for something he cannot influence or change, it really isn't fair to him. Imagine how the poor fellow feels any time an FM complains about LiveCloud?
Asking him to approve of LiveCLoud is really backing him into a corner. What if he doesn't like it but has nothing else to offer? That's not his fault. There's a whole lot of pressure you're putting on a really terrific guy with this post..
I'm sure that isn't what you intended, which is why I felt I should point it out to you.

I've seen the Bov, floating around on clouds.
I do think he deserves some blame for my Bovril jar's lid getting clogged up and difficult to open.

Bov was ace in getting us to this place.. OK so some folk may not like LC at the moment--- but we are not yet there as a Forum.. The sooner we get there the better Dave.. You could have dropped us but are still putting up with us. Oh and being from Seattle-- how much do you know of the " Hells Angel" sting that happened there.. Watched a prog on Sky the other night about it and thought of you lot. Bet you were a member there LoL

Hi RZB I'm great thanks...how are you? Were any of your lot doing exams this year?
quote:Hi RZB I'm great thanks...how are you? Were any of your lot doing exams this year?
I'm great thanks Temps, my middle child did his GCSE's and BTEC's this year, we are really pleased with the results, He struggles academically, and has help in the classroom,
so for him to get a C in some subjects was brilliant, He always passed 2 of his BTEC's with merits,
We are all getting back in the old routine following Mexico
How's the little man coming along, I guess not so little anymore.

Hey! Thats brilliant news Forgive me for asking, but I can never remember, are the GCSE's what you do in your final year in school? If so, has he any plans for this year?
Was Mexico the family hol? I take it you had a brilliant time?
Finn his great thanks....he had a big day at the hospital yesterday to check his tummy is ok and had to have a blood test taken...the poor wee man I tell you the screams were like something I've never heard But he's coming on great otherwise, we're on constant 'roll' watch here...he hasn't quite managed to roll over, but he's half way there
Yes GCSE's are what we take at 16 years, BTEC's have been introduced to help kids who might not handle exams so well , but still allows them to leave with qualifications, funny enough he start college this morning, He is enrolled on a painting and decorating course, Just one left at school for me now,
Mexico was the family holiday this year, fantastic, we all really enjoyed it, great time was had by all.
What's wrong with the babies tummy ?.
He must be coming up for 6 months soon,

I can't believe RZB family holiday time has been and gone...that's like a forum countdown
Awww starting college this morning, I bet you remember the day he started school...and now look at him
He's four and a half months....his tummy...his had probs with it from day one..straining all the time, not pooping for days, windy...he would get sooooo upset with it all...so the GP referred us to the hosp just to make sure all was okay. That was back in May, we only got to see the consultant yesterday Anyhow, she says he's just an unlucky baby, that it's just one of those things that will work itself out eventually, but not to start him on solids till six months (he will NEVER last till then ) and she sent him for blood tests just to be 100% it's not anything else.

I guess in general Crock. I was wondering if the problems had been sorted and people were able to get in there now.
It's not been a problem for me either.

I don't think the tummy problem is that uncommon, especially with boys for some reason.
My nephew had a similar problem, I think by the
time he started school, all was sorted,
As for Z starting college, he seems so young,
he's only just turned 16, where some of the other could now be 17, I hope he takes to the course, mind you I've visions of going home tonight, and he's stripped all the walls of paper as part of his home work.

Be warned temps, my nephew is now a 21 year old lad, one effect from his tummy problem, is the wind part never seem to go away.
He's merrily carried that on for 21 years.
