Oh do you mean a duck egg, nah not one of them cos it's black
someone must have a share in the pumice stone market
The best thing for feet Iâve found is Crocâs, I know they are ugly, but after I broke my little toe due to hubby leaving loads of tools around when decorating, Iâve always gone bare feet indoors, never owned a pair of slippers. Thing is since Iâve been wearing Crocâs I have no hard skin, my feet are like babies feet, donât ask me how it works I havenât a clue but it does.
As for over doing things, tell me about it, I overdid it with the Babyliss leg sander.

Hi Essex, never tried a leg sander, it just sounds bad. Used the rio laser scanner, supposed to do 60 hairs at once. i think my thrive on it, but I must keep on using it, cost a fortune, must work, surely?

I've got a ped egg and I'm not impressed. It's no better than a pumice or a foot file.
Maybe my skin's not hard enough to really see the benefit

If my feet get really bad I have a peel.
It's fantastic. They just paste some gel on the hard skin, leave it for 4-5 mins and then wipe it off. No pumice, no rubbing just lovely soft tootsies.
I can't bear to use a pumice or file on myself - makes my tummy go all doolally!

The Ped Egg is bloody fantastic! I've had one since they came out and my heels have gone from being crusty, cracked and crunchy ( ) to being as smooth as a baby's bum, lol. You can get long handled ones too for people with disabilities.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

I bought my Ped-Egg at Superdrug on special offer for a fiver..it's brilliant!
Oh Gawd this thread is bringing back memories of Carole rasping her hooves in BB8..
I've always used a Scholl filing thing - I hate the sight of mangy feet and cracked dry skin! I do pamper my feet, I always have and I visit a podiatrist every two months to check my 'attempts at nails cutting' - one has to have nice feet/nails imo - I sit hubby down and shove his feet into a foot spa and file/moisturise and wrap his feet in cream/cling film for half an hour or so - he loves it! Just no one will do my feet and I'm short sighted so have to restrain myself from not 'hacking away'.
I don't think a ped egg or a pumice stone would help me, for I have the worst, most driest feet in the world FACT!

I watched a '10 Years Younger Programme' the woman had been doing her feet with a Black & Decker sander.

Try a ped egg/scholl filer - after soaking your feet, smother them in a cream (aqueous cream - cheap in Boots/chemists even vaseline will do wrap them in cling film (with the cream still on btw) then after 30 mins or so wash and re-file and moisturise as necessary - repeat weekly. Be careful not to slip with cream on your feet btw!
i'm doing mine now!
one bit of advice-dont ped egg your elbows
it might seem like a good idea after a bottle or 3 of wine
it isnt

Exactly, I used to 'pedicure' my feet during a bottle of wine drinking - 'Moisturise elbows' or at least use a 'sloughing cloth/gloves'.

I fancy a Ped-Egg, but I can't find them anywhere.
Don't worry Demantoid. Just get one of those green pot scrubs from the kitchen.
Marcus swears by them.

I had that problem. Lever it open gently with a key at the top was the best way we found.
I've wanted one for ages! I had insomnia last summer and used to watch the ped egg on those late night shopping special things they have on various digital channels.
I asked for one for xmas but never got one. Men are rubbish at remembering stuff like that - I always remember little 'likes' as stocking fillers.
He paid my dentist bills instead of a pressie but then I had nothing to open on xmas day.
I'm so gonna get one now and wrap it up and give it to myself as a pressie.
