lots of true stuff there,...except, I never drank "cool aid" or rode in the back of a "pick up" I never had a "BB gun" OR tried out for "little league" probably cause I was raised in the UK in the 50s n 60s and NOT the USA,
so I suppose another thing that could be added to the list is that Britain wasnt "Americanised" back then either,
other than that, I agree with the points made in the post,
I am 56 and I am SO glad I was born when I was, I feel sorry for the kids of today, not so much the teenagers, but the younger kids, they miss out on so much that we used to take for granted,
staying out all day with ya pals building a "den" in the woods, and your folks not being worried at all, only going home when when ya belly told ya it was time, didnt get into trouble cause I was more scared of my dad than the police, yip WE was lucky,
