Forum Troll school lesson 1.

Pick a subject, log-on, rant and rave about anything loosely associated with the subject, and make sure only a very small portion of it actually has a basis in reality.

When asked a direct question, or presented with that crazy thing known as a fact that disproves said ranting and raving, simply post a load of smilies.

This is the online equivalent of sticking your fingers in your ears and going 'la la la I'm not listening' which is naturally recognised as a highly mature response.

If this fails, pretend that you didn't even post said rant in the first place, even when it's clear to see embedded in an earlier part of the very quote you responded to. Immediately follow this up with a comment about the poster needing to go to specsavers.

If this fails, proudly tell the forum that you are going now as you can only take so much 'pwnage' in one day. Naturally, you will then immediately continue posting despite this earlier statement.

It's at this point that you should consider name calling, only to the respond with righteous indignation when somebody responds in kind.

When you do finally get tired, post another wave of smilies, and reiterate part of your initial rant. Pat yourself on the back on a job well done, as you've just wonz at teh internetz.

Plan to tell your friends about this 'pwnage'. Then remember that you don't have any, so your overweight pet cat, most likely called Obi Wan, will have to do...

Return tomorrow, seeing as you have absolutely nothing else to do other than go pick up your medication and continue to delude yourself that you aren't wasting your life...

Soozy woo, i appreciate what you are saying, so please try to understand other peoples point of views, everyone is entitled to their own views, i see the people on this forum seem to shamelessly gang up on people who mention the BNP. Always come back with the same thing....the colour of someones skin, well it isnt all about the colour of our skins you know, just look at the state of this country now as it is, watch the crime, the immigrants getting into this country, the taxes they keep taking from us, ....

Immigration is a real problem in this country. But the problem with immigration and controlling the UK's borders has little to do with racism per se. The problem is that the BNP has taken the problem of immigration and border control and used it to package their bigoted hatred of anyone who does not conform to their supremisist ideal. So that people like you, who fear for their jobs and pay lips service to party manifestos, will vote them in to save a way of life you think you have only to discover their policies are ill-conceived, unworkable and have little basis in reality. In fact you may wake up to find you, or one of your family, or a good friend deported because you don't satisfy their 'generation' rule.

But you carry on love..

i cant believe this thread is still going and we are getting the same old socialist scare mongering about the facist boogeyman.

hitler was a facist, he was also a madman who murdered over 6 million people and for that he is quite rightly to be feared and hated, but in all the smoke lets not forget that our ally the communist stalin initaly sided with hitler, was responsible for a far far larger genocide in the ukraine and also slaughterd millions more at home and in surrouning countries, i'm not saying either were good but isnt it odd how all the "anti nazis" who hate the bnp seem to have socialist roots that allign nicely with stalin but are so careful to keep that kind of thing out of the debate when surely if they were realy concerned about genocide and mass murder then they should be attacking the socialist left as they were far worse than the facists, in fact i seem to remember that spain was a realy popular tourist destination for the british yet that was a facist run country that no one had a problem with.

facism doesnt always lead to genocide and mass murder but a left wing government sems to from stalin and mao to pol pot and mugabe mass murder and socalism/communism go hand in hand, and itts because of that you get all the outspoken "anti facists" just trying to hide their own political history by highlighting someone elses, its something they have been very successful at too.

I don't think anyone on here is thinking Stalin was a great guy! The post is about a poster urging folk to vote a fascist party therefore the line of conversation followed fascism. It's funny though I worked with a guy who always rought up this topic that 'everyone forgets' (I don't think they do btw) that Stalin massacred millions of people. He was always keen to make that point, at the same time he bemoaned the end of the 'good old days' in S Africa (the good old days being Aparheid) so it kind of made me question his motives! I'm not suggesting that's what you are saying just remembering that guy I worked with.

No one can justify or condone what Stalin did, but I would suggest he was more of a meglomaniac who would just kill ANYONE he percieved to be in his way. Psycho he indeed was.

I found OHG's post on Nick Griffin changing language very interesting as this is precisely what the Nazis did from 1933 as soon as Hitler was elected Bundeskanzeller they issued an edict to all media of the day that from now on when referring to certain words all media had to use specific words. Some examples I can remember from my studies are below.

'sexual relations wiht a Jew' the word would be BLUTVERGIFTUNG which actuallly meand 'blood poisoning' but they managed to change the word.

When referreng to having beaten a football time the word used was always to be Schlacht = slaughter

and of course their horrid word UNTERMENSCH to refer to people with BLUTVERGIFTUNG as 'sub human'

VERNICHTUNG = extermination - no longer to mean just extermination of vermin eg rats and mice but also to include humans

SONDERVERHANDLUNG = 'special treatment' which was the euphimism for deportation and mass murder of Jews.

That's off the top of my head but there are loads of examples of how they started cynically manipulating the mindset of their population, and I'm sure the BNP would also use language in such a way, all parties do but the 1933 German govt used it very well and cynically, which is how you start to change the mood and opinion of a people.

They are cleverer than their supporters that's for sure. But all the supporters need is a few mindless phrases to repeat, which I have noticed in evidence here. It seems to be on the basis of our 'jobs' been 'stolen' though I note to date no one has offered direct evidence of this.

and therein lies my problem, every time he harps on about that i instantly think of the exact same thing that happened with the labour party leaders in order to make them electable, why is that "ok" but the bnp doing exactly the same thing something to make a huge fuss about, as i say, yes the hardcore of the bnp are almost certainly a dangerous group of people but as they gather more support from moderates it tends to sideline them, exactly the same applies with the hardcore left in the labour party as a group they were completely unelectable by the 80's and by the time labour got back into power in the late 90's that left wing had been completely neutered as far as power in their own party was concerned, like it or not if the bnp was to ever even get close to power it would not be or even be able to be the same as its still being portrayed by some.

thats not to say i would suggest anyone supports the bnp even as it is now anymore than i'd suggest the equally dangerous but more fractured left wing, i've made absolutely clear that my decision to vote for the bnp was taken with my eyes open and since i'm not one of their chosen few on so many grounds it was a hard choice to make however i made that choice based solely on their anti eu stance and policies associated with it, as i personally felt that the main parties have downplayed the larger eu issues to prevent division in their own parties and i could not support any party in the european elections that didnt make its commitment to our withdrawal absolutely clear, i'm just sorry that the expenses row has overshadowed that, however that said just because i chose to vote bnp in the european elections i could not find myself supporting them for local or national elections, which is why i have been uneasy in appearing to defend them so much against those from the left who i regard as every bit as dangerous if not moreso.

the rest of your post could easily with a change of words be just as easily fitted to stalins russia which again kind of makes my point about how the left have been so successful at covering their backs by carrying on about the boogeyman, after all everyone knows how many were killed in the holocaust, but who (without using google Wink) can honestly quote the figures from the ukraine holocaust perpetrated by stalin even though its a massively larger number.
