Robert was brilliant, btw.

I don't know!! Mad It was on Channel 4 and covered the years when he was gaining power. I would love to watch it again when I have had less wine.

The thing that really caught my attention was that during his rise to power, he said the things that the people wanted to hear - much the same as the BNP do.

Oh, I think it was called HItler's Rise to Power. Or maybe not. Sometimes I wonder why I'm allowed out in society, I'm so scatter brained! Laugh

I can't even remember quotes properly these days! There is one - I should google it - about how the nazi's came for the jews, but I said nothing because I wasn't Jewish. Then they came for the catholics, but I kept silent because I wasn't catholic . . . Do you know what one I mean? Even though I can't quote it, it did have a profound impact on me.

I adore Robert Carlyle, he's such an amazing actor.

And it scares me too. I know people say that they could never get in power, but I honestly believe they could. Maybe not so soon but in the future Frowner
