Bloody hell, I remember a bomb scare in West Brom in the '80's when the IRA were active and they shut one of the shopping centres because there was an unexplained package there.  It was quite scary until they gave the all clear as no one knew what was happening.

It was worrying because the police wouldn't say what was happening. I was just on my way home when they were cordoning the road off and clearing out the traffic within the cordon.

But what baffles me is why on earth did he put them in the car to take to the police station, why didn't he leave them where they were and ring the police to come to him

That's scary Cinds. Dunno if you've been on the Metro lately, but they're now giving announcements saying don't leave luggage unattended and don't look after it for anyone. It kinda makes you think do they know anything

Yeah....in the good oldIRA days of the late 70's and 80's you could barely walk around London without having toevacuate here or there or get a bus cos the train were cancelled

In a way Kaytee and Croc I supose I could understand it down there. (Not wishing anything on anyone) but it's odd they've just started doing it the last few weeks
