I think so LL Valentine 50 years married and he's finally made her rich! Nod

He enjoys his allotment and was there tending to his Onions the following day...giving it time to sink in I guess!! Nod

Apparently the girl in the shop told him to tuck his ticket away, go home as quickly as possible and ring Camelot! I don't think he realised just what getting all 7 numbers meant at first!

I love it when it's pensioners Nod

That's actually given me a lump in my throat Crying

Absolutely wonderful that for the rest of their lives, they are now never going to want for anything. No worries about their pension or how they are going to manage. No worries about what they might have to sell if either of them have to go into a home. A lovely story Nod

We already KNOW you're abit strange OHG Laugh Valentine Only joking!!!

I know what you mean, just a little too much, though they do have their Kids & Grand Kids to treat! Thumbs Up

yeah thats true I suppose....the kids bit I mean NOT the strange bit, Big Grin
I just remember seeing a documentary about lottery winners and quite a few of them said they were no happier AFTER winning in fact life got a whole lot more complicated, and a few even wished it had never happened,
they lost ALL or most of their close friends, cause some friends didnt come round anymore in case they thought they were after their money, other friends EXPECTED a handout, the friends started to fall out with each other,(how come he bought YOU that car but he only bought ME this one and I have known him longer than you? etc etc)
everytime he (one guy in particular)went out all his friends didnt think they needed to buy a drink, others wouldnt LET him buy them a drink, etc etc..... nope that kind of money can be more trouble than its actually worth Nod

'Tis Linds...nice when it's gone to someone who's worked hard rather than idiots like that Carroll fella who won the Lottery years back....Nod
