Are you saying that the orb had moved from the science lab to the shuttle bay before 16.45? If so, how did that happen? And how come the orb was in a grey bag?

This whole thing revolves around Dr Rhom. He was the person who had most access to the Orb. But he needed an accomplice to carry out his theft. It is this accomplice who is the real thief. My first thought was Worf had the ability and added access to do the dirty deed, then I heard of his attempts to track the Orb and constant anger at not being able to protect it. It was NOT Worf.
There was so much movement and fake orbs going on that it was almost impossible to work out who grabbed it first.
Then it hit me! A guard had suffered from a Temporal distortion. Why? This usually means there has been a time shift, If I could have scanned for tetryon particles I could have found out more but I could not, so I had to use old fashion assumptions.
The initial report made mention of the Temporal shift.
It is my belief that the thief Was given access to equipment as yet to be discovered that enabled them to acquire the ORB before it went missing!!! Beaming in taking it and leaving a copy in its place. But the gaurd got caught up in it. There is only one person on board that could have dealt with the gaurd and (almost cover the tracks) later The guard also somehow knew about Worfs tracers? .
From that point on every Orb was a fake.
The person who acquired the ORB and then disposed of it was the only person who was not at the card game, Br Beverly Crusher! the person who treated the guard for the temporal distortion effects!

Don't count on it!!! I'd like to know a lot more about that Dr. Eulan character and what the heck he was up to with Deanne, Bev, Data, Geordi, Guinan and Ro. Seems he was having all sorts of secret conversations and get togethers,slipping notes, giving folk coordinates, arranging for people to have those MickeyFinn things, and he's a Romulan, and he is the one phasered on the floor in the Science Lab and it was in his quarters that they found the diagram re brian reprogramming! He's been up to no good that one
