I started a thread earlier on this. Very sad.
That is terrible. Also those poor people who's homes are flooded, we've already seen from previous floodings that peoples homes have still not been rectified. Lives lost, memories and possessions gone forever.

Oh Queenie sorry, didn't read back and saw it on the home page of BBC news, really sorry for starting another one.
It is dreadful though, the pictures on Sky News of the flooding of the area, and I have been moaning because a fence panel blew over in the bad winds we have had, thankfully no flooding round here though, just surface water where the drains have been blocked.

Thing is this seems to be happening all the time now. Summer floods, winter floods, north, south...I don't remember it happening like this when I was younger.

Oh lordy, they've just showed him on the news, it somehow seems worse when you see the face of a person....so sad...
