because as a gay, mixed race, well educated and reasonably intelligent man i have the intelligence to be able to make my own mind up as to who i will vote for and when and for what reasons. i wont let screaming lefties tell me who i can and cant vote for no matter how much they squeal, its almost laughable that someone coming from the left wing end of the spectrum can moan about the vile and disgusting things hitler and his allies did yet failing to accept they were just as bad, the fact is there is no good in any form of extremism and luckily for our forefathers and their fight for our right to democracy there is no chance of extremists from either end of the spectrum of gaining any sort of power, however there is a perfectly valid case for using your democratic right to vote in order to punish or show your disgust the current government. put another way if a tory government ever screwed up the country as badly as labour had done i would have no qualms in voting tactically for the bcp or swp in a european election, i know they too have a dark past and dangerous policies and i know they too have no chance of power so a vote for them is quite a safe vote, and luckily for us we have that right.

thats also very true, but as you can see by the venom from some here, there is nothing like a vote for the bnp to scare the shit out of the main (and left) parties, what better way to get your disgust at them noticed, i'm strongly anti eu membership (but not eec) and let there be no doubt there is no more venomous party that is anti-eu than the bnp.
please note again, i'm not advocating voting bnp in any meaningful election or in any ward / district where there is a chance they could win.

i do seem to recall after 9/11 they had some publicity about a few new hindu members though but again i could be wrong.
