Very sad I loved her in corrie she was so funny playing Blanche she will be sadly missed from our screens.

Yes I know.  She had me peeing myself sometimes.  I wonder how they'll write her out?

What sad news.  She was a real character and will be missed.

The poor girl was looking increasingly frail and last night only appeared in a 'phone conversation. What a trooper though  ... and she had most of the best lines.

She did have some amazing lines.  And she was brilliant.

Classic Blanche!

How fitting that her last appearance in Corrie was Blanche at her best! She had a few too many tipples and blurted out the gory family details, much to the embarrassment of Deidre, Ken, Peter and Leanne! Loved it.

RIP Blanche. Thanks for the laughter.

Oh how sad I don't watch Corrie these days, but when I did her character Blanche was one of  my favourite .... up there  alongside the series other great characters such as Ena, and Elsie, and Hilda,  RIP Maggie

She really has to go down as one of the best characters in corrie history. She really stole the show .........wonder how they'll write her out?

I was wondering that too Soozy.  They wrote her out temporarily I think when she shot off coz she was ill several weeks back (we will no doubt see her go soon, unless she has already gone (?)  But they will have to think of something fast, to write her out altogether.  So sad, as she was SUCH a character.

While watching Corrie earlier tonight I wondered how she was since reading a few weeks ago she was ill. Very sad news, especially for her family and all who knew her well in real life as well as viewers.


I loved her deadpan humourous lines but Corrie scriptwriters are are famous for humour as well as drama. She'll definitely be missed bless her.

I'm sure we've already seen her last scenes
They'll just have to say she's died I suppose

Oh and they showed some early scenes of her on the news - she was quite glamerous when she was younger!

I'm a few weeks behind, and have just watched  that episode, it was a scream. Blanche at her best.  She was O.T.T with the make-up, letting all the skeletons out of the cupboard.   She was a great character,
