Cupoards are wood 7 yrs old, black worktops..all my other things are chrome....

No I've gone right off that since most are silver plastic looking, they were nice when they first came out but they all just look grey now and that reminds me of John major....

I've got a black cooker and I absolutely hate the way it shows up every speck of dust and dirt even after it's jst been scrubbed to within an inch of it's life.

id go grey/silver/granite whatever shade that model is classed as. Its midway and matches everything

Does depend on the kitchen colour scheme but that aside, black on kitchen appliances looks a bit, well... a bit... dirty. All a matter of preference I suppose.
White the black one looks cheap.
