He can sing, but I genuinely think he is nothing special. The only reason him and Rebecca are being lauded so much this year is because they are up against complete dross.  Even his Bootcamp audition I didn't see the fuss about it. 

Nothing will ever come close to the talent in Series 5. The show is now a damp squib, nothing more than a marketing exercise for Syco.

You can't possibly want Louis to win? He keeps putting forward acts that can't sing at all claiming they're 'fun' like the total spaz he is. Jedward last year, Wanker this year and Mary is completely crap too.

I hate to say it but Cher is the only good performer left in it and even though I'd hate to see her win she probably deserves it more than any of the others. Matt is painfully dull but not as dull one one dimensional as Rebecca. One Direction are a boy band that aren't actually a band at all just a load of kids trying to outpose each other on stage.

It's one thing having people I like on the show, but to properly back someone I always ask myself 'Would I listen to this person on a CD in the car or at home?, would I go to see them live?'

With Matt, I would do both. I think his voice and his delivery is brilliant.

Agree Karma, music, for me, is stuff that I want to listen to....I've only ever bought one CD from any of these types of programmes, (and I buy a lot of music,) that was Alex Parks from Fame Academy...I reckon I'll buy Matt's too

In all fairness he didn't have a lot of choice this year did he? They tampered with the categories and he ended up with a pile of cack. He's done a good job with the crap hand that he was dealt IMO.

He definitely got a raw deal with his choice of acts this year but he could have put all the others that didn't get through into a hat and picked one out and couldn't possibly have got anyone worse than Wagner. And last year he forced Jedward on a world where they were utterly reviled by anyone over the age of 10. The man's an oxygen thief.

But it's a Market Economy. Quality doesn't really matter. Matt is the same sorta one trick pony as Leona, but she's made a fortune....... Possibly.

Louis Walsh, a grown adult with the vocabulary of a ten year old is a genius? He did not do well with Jedward they are a novelty act that will be forgotten completely this time next year. I will be amazed if he's not dropped completely next year for putting Wagner through to the last stages.

Well we'll just have to disagree again ...............I accept the Jedward are pretty talentless but I've seen far more of them on my telly this past year than Joe McEldrey ....................I agree that they will soon be a distant memory but boy have they milked it for every thing they're worth. As for Joe  - were you impressed by his performance? TBH - i think he'll be forgotten and a distant memory before Jedward.

Nope but it's not my kind of music at all so I'm never going to like it. He was far better than Olly Murs who, bizarrely, seems to be releasing stuff that sounds like dance versions of Chas and Dave.
