OMG if the livefeed came back I wouldn't care who runs the show!!
BB producers said that there were not that many people wanting livefeed.. they mentioned a figure but i can't remember... but what they fail to realise for every one person who keeps an eye on LF, 20 hear the news!! multiply that by whatever their figure is and there you have something that works... doh!

Yep. IMO, it's either a hoax, or else someone "flying a kite".

I really can't see this happening in practise. BB's viewing figures may have dropped, but it's still C4's biggest show by quite a bit.
If it was put on E4 instead, it would be pulling-in less than a million.
There's also the knock-on effect: for example, "8 out of 10 Cats" is one of C4's top 5 rated shows, but it wouldn't get anything like the same audience figures if it wasn't wedged between the eviction shows.

God, how viewing figures have dwindled in the five years since BB5.Just found this re. that series.

"A peak of over 5 million viewers to see Kitten evicted from the house on Friday night, according to preliminary ratings information.

The 9pm update show averaged 4.1 million viewers and a 20.2% share of the audience, peaking at 4.4 million (21.1%). An hour later the eviction show was seen by 5.0 million (23.8%) and a peak of 5.2 million (25.0%).

Week one figures in full (C4 show):

BBLB has averaged 1.7 million and a 10% share across the week, peaking with 2.1 million for Monday's edition. Repeat showings on E4 have avareged 406,000.

Well, I for one would like to THANK channel 4 for the chopping of 24/7 LF,
cause if they hadn't then I probably wouldn't have taken the time to THINK about this farce of a tv show a little deeper,
It IS a pile of shite, this year more so than ever before, (its always been shite though,)
C4 are a tv company and therefore have NO choice but to comply with broadcasting standards legislation, and THAT is why we will only EVER see a sanitised edited distorted scripted version, of the 'reality' of what happens in that house,
It might as well be Eastenders, they are both about as 'real'
live feed was/is NEVER "live" they are not ALLOWED to broadcast it LIVE because in law they ARE responsible as broadcasters for EVERYTHING done or said in the house if they broadcast it,
SO, they can move it to where the sun dont shine for me, cause it will STILL only ever be a load of edited scripted contrived bollocks, and I find hard to comprehend that some people actually PAY money to vote on this crap.

Those look like really good figures for a digital channel. I wonder what they're like now.
