Tonight on Big Brother's Bit On The Side: 10th July

There’ll be an EVICTEE on BOTS tonight! Excited? We are!

But they won’t be all on their lonesome – that would be too much of a shock after being used to a busy House – so we’ll have former ‘Eastenders’ star and reality king Joe Swash, Lesley Joseph from ‘Birds of a Feather’ and our very own Nikki Grahame in the studio.

Let’s hope Nikki’s all glammed up!

Day 60: Jack ponders his fate

Jack has been afraid (he's been petrified) that he's not welcome in the House anymore. But after a tough week he's grown strong, learnt how to get along with the other housemates, and now feels like he's ready to go and walk out the door tonight.

But will he go? Only you can decide.

5 signs that Joel is the new Marc

The housemates have noticed a worrying change in Joel. Over the last few days there have been some telltale signs that he might be becoming Marc. So we've had a sift through and found some incontrovertible evidence.

Doing what he wants and damn the consequences

Joel wanted a pizza and no one was going to get in his way. At least he got a cloche thrown in for free.

Arguing with almost everyone in the House

Marc had more than a few disagreements in the House but Joel is racking them up like nobody's business

Showing off his body

He may not put as much effort into his physique as Marc but you can't deny the results. Look at those abs!

Tit for tat arguments with Harry

The "no, you shut up" argument may have been Marc's trademark but Joel has stepped in to fill his ample trunks, with aplomb

A pathological aversion to trousers

He may not be quite at Marc's level of trouser hatred yet but when you start cooking in trunks you're only one step away from scrambling an egg in y-fronts.

Case closed, then?

Day 60: Sam's eviction is causing trouble between the housemates

Harry has been evicted! Check out her top five moments

She shouted that she didn't care, but how do you feel about the eleventh eviction? Harry has left the Big Brother House, leaving behind a very lonely Nick - and possibly a pile of clothes. She'll be missed but we look forward to seeing more of her on Bit on the Side. Check out her top moments...

Shock entrance

Harry made her entrance on one of the most dramatic nights of the series - Big Brother reversed nominations, evicted a whopping four housemates in one night, and chucked four new ones in. Harry appeared through a Timebomb Machine in the garden, all glitter and glitz, wearing a fairytale fetish outfit. She definitely made an impression!

Clothes repeller

Harry Amelia

Harry also raised eyebrows in and out of the House by basically refusing to wear clothes for her first few days. We didn't know where to look.

K-I-S-S-I-N-G

Another way Harry shook up the House dynamics was by launching into a will-they-won't-they-yeah-they-definitely-will romance with Nick. That's the same Nick who previously appeared to be getting close with Jade. But while Jade claimed she and Nick were just friends, Nick and Harry were soon spooning and snogging like it was going out of fashion.

Fighting talk

Harry Amelia and Marc rant

In less fun news? Harry made an enemy in the House in the form of Marc. In fairness, he wound up most people, but the clashes between the two of them were some of the most dramatic we've seen. We're pretty scared of Harry Amelia when she's angry.

Anger management

Harry

Let's end on a happier note, though. When the Big Brother legends entered the House, it looked like they had the knives out for Harry - they nominated her before they even made their official entrance. Gulp. But over the next few days, things calmed down, and Harry even made an unlikely ally in the form of Helen Wood, who gave her some valuable advice on managing her anger. No, we never thought we'd type those words, either, but it was a touching scene. Almost brings a tear to the eye...

Drama, romance, rage, and recovery - it's been quite a journey for our Harry, but sadly that journey's over now. Bye Harry, you'll be missed (especially by Nick!).

Sam has been evicted! Check out her top five moments

She'll be #lovinglife from the outside now - Sam is the twelfth person to be evicted from the Big Brother House. Here are her top five moments...

An awkward entrance

Being a late arrival to the Big Brother House is always tricky, but Sam's entrance was a particularly awkward one - she appeared in the Diary Room with an envelope that revealed the identity of the last housemate to be evicted during #4in4out. Cringe.

Positive vibes

Sam soon got to work trying to make amends, though, by bringing her personal version of positivity to the House. As she spelled out in her manifesto, Sam's all about good times, good vibes, and, yes, loving life.

De-motivational

Which isn't to say it always worked. Sam was mortified when her mission to cheer up the House was thwarted by four grumpy nominees refusing to give her a hug, but it was all a sneaky plan by Big Brother. And in true Sam style, when the task was revealed, she laughed it off and declared the day one of her favourites ever. Aww.

Joined at the hip

Sam also seemed to form some strong bonds in the House - not least with her fellow late arrival, Marc. While they repeatedly claimed they were just friends, they often shared a bed, and even had a cheeky snog or two. Just friends, though, yeah?

A little bit of this

birdie song

In the end, no task or argument could keep Sam down for long. When she and Marc were named the most selfish housemates, Big Brother consigned them to 80s Hell while the others enjoyed a secret 80s party. But while lesser mortals would be frustrated or annoyed by having to dance to the Birdie Song on loop, Sam actually enjoyed it. Awww.

What will the House be like without Sam's exuberance? Quieter, for sure...

Everything you need to know about Day 60

Just when you thought the Cash Bombs couldn't get any more explosive... well, something like tonight happens. Yikes. But let's rewind for a few hours and take a look at everything else that went on today:

The 24 hours before an eviction are always a bit tense, and this was no exception. With Joel getting into arguments left, right, and centre, housemates reckoned he might be acting out of characterMaybe even turning into Marc? Argh. (He did apologise to Harry, though, so there's that.)

Big Brother had a moment of uncharacteristic generosity and decided to allow the housemates who hadn't had their suitcases back a chance to earn themAll they had to do was answer a few easy general knowledge questions.

Could they manage to find the keys to unlock their belongings? Well, let's just say one housemate still hadn't learned to spell "canoe", and the rest of the House took the opportunity to ridicule them for it.

As time went on, though, the weight of the impending eviction started to weigh heavy on our housemates. You could have cut the tension in the House with a knife as HMs speculated on who might be going, and wondered if their time was up.

Then Emma got up on that stage and announced who had received the most votes from you lot - and Harry Amelia was shown the door, as our eleventh evictee. Bye, Harry!

While Emma chatted to Harry, the other housemates rallied round her in-House boyfriend Nick, who seemed to be taking her loss hard. But the twists weren't over...

Another Cash Bomb saw the three housemates who'd just survived the eviction put in jeopardy again. Each of them chose an envelope with a monetary value inside, inadvertantly putting a price on their own head.

Their fellow housemates were tasked with the horrible decision of kicking one of them out, in order to add money to their prize fund. Unsurprisingly, they weren't super keen, with Joel outright refusing to take part

In the end, though, having picked the biggest sum of money, Sam was given the bootHer departure left the House reeling - and sniping at one another. Eeek.

After a quick toast and a bit of time to let the shock wear off, the remaining housemates had a realisation that cheered them up and helped them come to terms with their loss. They're all finalists! Who wins? You decide, and the vote is open RIGHT NOW. Exciting!

Big Brother 2015's 'Secret Duvet Club' revealed

Big Brother

In last night’s Big Brother live show, both evicted housemates Harry Amelia and Sam Kay mentioned their ultra secret club.

The pair both spoke about the ‘Secret Duvet Club’ in their interviews with Emma and now it’s been revealed just what it is.

And frankly, we’re surprised that Big Brother didn’t kick them out of the house for it.

Speaking after her eviction last night, Harry Amelia said this morning: “Big Brother got the mardies that [Nick and I] found a way to communicate underneath the duvet without anyone knowing about it. And half the time, it probably looked like we were shagging or something!

“Basically, we were writing in code and then one time, we hid a whiteboard under the duvet and were talking using the whiteboard – doing all these things and rule-breaking.”

Harry continued: “We talked a lot about the stuff we didn’t want to say on camera, like about our families.

I talked to him a lot about my past and the things that have happened to me – things I didn’t feel comfortable talking on camera, but things I wanted to get off my chest.

“Secret Duvet Club is quite amazing to be honest with you, but I’m sorry that I can’t elaborate on that because what happens in Secret Duvet Club stays in Secret Duvet Club. And you will never know what happens in Secret Duvet Club!”

Sam was also involved, saying: “They were trying to get some from me about what happened between me and Marc under the covers – but literally nothing even happened. I think they were a bit disappointed!”

To be honest, we’re a bit surprised the pair were allowed to get away with it all!

Everything you need to know about Day 61

Housemates woke up to a pretty empty-feeling House this morning - after last night's double eviction, there are only six people left in there. Which means they're all finalists and just one step away from winning. Hurrah!

The Cash Bombs hadn't stopped dropping though, and while housemates started the day a good mood when Big Brother woke them up with music instead of an alarm, there were lots of less cheerful things ahead of them...

For their next opportunity to raise the prize fund, Big Brother had some interesting tasks in store for the HMs. First up, Jack was offered a spray tan. Then another one. And another one. Since tanning is one of his least favourite things in the world, it didn't go down very well with him... but for everyone else, it was hilarious.

Next, pizza-loving Joel got a slice of the action when Big Brother called him to the Diary Room for his individual task. This time, instead of spending dough on pizza, Joel had to earn it by chowing down. Sadly, he found it all rather hard to swallow.

To really get the party started, Big Brother played everyone's favourite song, Do The Conga, and asked housemates to, well, do the conga. For over half an hour. They loved it really - especially when it bagged them an extra £5,700.

It all got a bit tense when Big Brother asked housemates to guess what they thought you guys at home had said about them in a particularly controversial poll. Eeeek.

After a brief egg-throwing interlude, it was Danny's turn to step up to the plate. With a whopping £8.700 on the line, could he remember how to spell "canoe"?

What do you think?

Big Brother 2015 spoilers: Jack McDermott nabs £24,000 from prize fund

big brother cash bomb 01

Jack McDermott has taken £23,900 from the Big Brother prize fund in the latest Cash Bomb twist.

All throughout Saturday the housemates worked together to build up the prize fund balance even further on the last day of the week’s Cash Bomb theme.

Jack got a spray tan, Danny was tested on this spelling and the group had to correctly guess what the public REALLY thought of them.

Over the course of the day the group racked up a total of an extra £23,900 for the prize fund which leaves the potential grand total of over £125,000 for the Big Brother 2015 winner, the biggest prize in BBUK history.

But yesterday evening Big Brother gathered the remaining six housemates to the task room for a shock twist.

For the very last part of Cash Bomb, each housemate stood behind a podium with a button on it, facing a locked suitcase containing the extra cash.

They were told that a countdown would soon activate lasting for one minute during which time the buttons on the podium would become active.

The first to press their button would take the cash home with them when they leave the house but if no one took the money then it would stay in the prize fund for the winner.

Jack hit the button first, just beating Cristian.

In tonight’s show we see Jack as he apologises and says that the money would change his life. Nick hugs him and says “Don’t regret it and enjoy it.”

Jack says, “In my head I am ecstatic but I am trying to be respectful.”

Chloe says, “You did have a go at me for taking £5,000 but I did see 23 and think that has got to be for Jack as it is your lucky number.”

Jack tells them that he will take them on holiday to which they all reply, “No one is angry.”

Jack says, “This is the most money I have ever had and will ever have in my life and will go to good and amazing things.”

Jack is in the Diary Room and says; “The things I will be able to do with this are unbelievable.

Joel might be a bit peeved as he thinks the prize fund is for the winner so taking out of it is wrong but it is literally life changing for me.”

Jack and Nick are in the smoking area and Nick tells Jack that he has done an amazing thing and that everyone understands.

Jack replies, “I don’t want to f**k anything up tonight and I don’t want this to phase me.

It gives me freedom, to get nice things in my wardrobe, to sort my friends and family out with nice things, the prize fund is still very high for someone to win.”

Joel is talking to Big Brother and says; “I don’t begrudge Jack taking the money and I know it will change his life but for me that money belongs to the winner and that is why I didn’t push the buzzer.

I think it is right that the money returns to the prize fund.”

Big Brother airs tonight at 9PM on Channel 5.

** Spoiler Alert Tonights Show **

Big Brother 2015 RECAP! Day 61 highlights spoilers from Timebomb series

big brother cash bomb 06

Here are all of tonight’s Big Brother 2015 highlights as the Cash Bomb twist sees another dramatic return.

The Housemates are woken up to the song ‘Money’ by Flying Lizard and are told by Big Brother that they would have the opportunity to add to the winner’s prize fund by taking part in a series of tasks.

After the announcement Danny double checks with the other Housemates how to spell ‘canoe’.

Chloe comes to the Diary Room to talk to Big Brother, “I feel good, I am sad to see the back of Sam and Harry. I am gobsmacked at my reaction last night and that I am still here. I am buzzing.”

Jack is called to the Diary Room and is told he will be offered the chance to accrue some further cash, by receiving a fake tan.

All he has to do to win the money is remain in the tanning booth for as long as Big Brother tells him to. Jack replies, “I don’t like tanning, I don’t see the point in it, I don’t want to be orange. Obviously I am going to be now though.”

Jack is then taken into the task room and given five rounds of spray tan. He is then told by Big Brother he has earned £1,600 for the prize fund but cannot wash the tan off for six hours. Jack replies, “Look at me! I look like an Oompa Lumpa!”

Jack returns to the House and tries to escape to the bathroom unnoticed. Danny sees him and exclaims, “Jacks had a spray tan!” all the Housemates run to Jack and are hysterical at the results, Nick comments, “That’s hazel!”

Joel is called to the Diary Room for the next part of the task and is offered £4,300.

All he has to do to win this sum of money is eat all of the pizza provided by Big Brother. Joel replies, “I will give it a go.” Upon eating the first pizza Joel comments, “Cheese and tomato pizza is the perfect dish, and it ishealthy, cheese has milk so it is good for your bones and tomato puree is one of your five a day.” Joel struggles to finish the first pizza and is sick.

After he finishes the first pizza a doorbell rings and a second one is delivered to him, “No, that is not fair and I am not doing that.” Big Brother reminds him to win the money he has to eat the pizza.

Joel declares that he can’t eat anymore and returns to the House to tell them he has failed.

Big Brother calls the Housemates to the sofa and tells them in order to win more money; all of the Housemates must dance to the conga for as long as Big brother is playing the classic party track.

The Housemates successfully pass the task and added £5,700 to the prize fund.

Jack is in the kitchen counting down the time until he can wash off his tan.

He then runs to the bathroom to find it has been locked, “F***ing B****rds.”

Big Brother calls Danny to the Diary Room for his tasks and the Housemates are gathered on the sofa to watch.

Big Brother then asks him to spell ‘canoe’ in order to win £8,700. After some time deliberating Danny correctly spells the word and wins the money.

For the next part of the task Housemates must guess which way they think the public answered to a series of questions which the public have answered.

All of the Housemates, apart from the Housemate the question is regarding have to write down their answer on whiteboards provided.

One of the questions asked was does Joel use his intelligence to manipulate the Housemates, they correctly answered that the public thought ‘Yes’.

The Housemates also guessed that the public thought Joel was a gameplayer and that Jack should have taken the car.

The Housemates accrue a total of £7700 for their correct answers.

The Housemates are on the sofa discussing the online poll and think the reason the public think he is manipulating is because they have thought it before.

The all agreed that they didn’t think Joel was there for the money.

For the final part of the cash back task the Housemates are each stood in front of a podium with a button and are facing a Perspex box which contains the £23,900 they have won throughout the day.

On a plasma on the wall is a one minute countdown.

Housemates are told they have a decision to make. They have earned a sum of money, which is now in the cash box. But when the clock starts, they have 60 seconds to push their button. If they do so, they steal the money from the prize fund and keep it for themselves. They are then guaranteed to walk away with this money, whenever they leave the house, but they do not jeopardise their place in the house.

The first Housemate to press the button will receive the money, and must wear it handcuffed to them for the rest of their time in the house.

Jack presses the button before Cristian and is awarded the £23,900 in the briefcase which he attaches to himself.

Big Brother airs tonight at 9PM on Channel 5.
