Day 1: Simon has been evicted from the Big Brother House

That's showbiz! Simon was in the House for less than two hours when he became the first victim of Big Brother's Timebomb.

Our faithful app users picked five housemates to take part in the dreaded launch night twist. After Jack won himself immunity from three evictions, Nick was condemned to nominate face-to-face throughout the series and Jade won herself a luxury budget, two timebombs remained. Either Adjoa or Simon would leave the House immediately. They both pulled the pins, and Simon was the unlucky loser.

Simon became the first ever male housemate to be evicted first from a regular series of Big Brother. His time in the House was short, sweet and contained the word "showbiz" approximately four hundred times. This is more true now than ever before - Simon, we hardly knew you...

Everything you need to know about launch night

The long, long wait for a new BB series finally came to an end in spectacular style with the launch of BBTimebomb.

After the timeless Emma Willis had introduced us to Aaron, Cristian, Danny, Joel, Kieran, Nick, Jack, Simon, Adjoa, Amy, Sally, Chloe, Eileen, Harriet, Jade and Sarah (got that?), it was straight down to business.

There was only time for a quick hello before ruthless BB gathered everyone to the sofas and proceeded to drop a huge timebomb right on their nervous heads.

The shock was open-mouth inducing as BB informed the house that Adjoa, Nick, Simon, Jack and Jade were to take part in a great big twist.

The chosen HMs then had to pull the pins one by one from their chosen time bombs to reveal what BB had in store for them.

It was all looking quite good until poor old Simon pulled his pin and became the first housemate to be evicted. At least he didn't have to unpack.

He seemed to take it quite well but then he started repeating the phrase "it's showbiz" quite a lot, so it was hard to tell.

After a brief shock Kieran, Cristian and Danny got down to the serious business of talking about the girls but they soon discovered that they all have boyfriends. Unlucky lads.

Soon the possibility of romance and Simon's depature became a distant memory as the HMs got to know one another by quickly changing into their pyjamas. You can tell a lot from someone's jimjams.

The first day of the BB summer has been, almost literally, explosive. Come back tomorrow to see all the fallout.

There's no business like show business.

Everything you need to know about Day 2

The housemates awoke feeling a little worse for wear this morning. Upon reflection, Aaron concluded that "that skinny-dip last night was the wrong idea, honey!", while the rest of the housemates seemed determined to stay half-naked for as along as possible.

Jack

Thought Simon would be a distant memory by Day 2? Think again! The man is already the object of the housemates' ridicule and seems to have posthumously earned the nickname 'Showbs'. Still, at least it stops them from targeting each other. For now.

The boys went head-to-head with the girls in a fiendishly revealing task, Face the Facts. They were provided with facts about their new pals and had to guess which person each fact related to. Who thought they should have been on CBB? Who left a fast food job after 30 minutes?

The task resulted in a bit of a disagreement between Cristian and Sarah. Ever the diplomat, Jade waded into talk it over with Cristian. Is she game-playing? Or genuinely concerned?

Scandal in the Big Brother House! Some food has disappeared! When on earth has it gone? Aaron - sporting a pair of ENORMOUS shades - lists the food he's eaten, to prove it wasn't much. Actually, it seemed like a pretty long list. Anyway, forget all that. Aaron's put milk the freezer! Will it explode?

We knew it wouldn't be long before romance blossomed. But who DOES Kieran have a crush on? Debate has been raging in the House, though admittedly that's mainly down to Danny's teasing. What a stirrer!

Finally, Joel found himself surrounded by women. The reason? His lofty political views? That sharp haircuit? His lovely Welsh accent? Nope, it was a spray tan at "Amy and Sally's Salon". He seemed like a pretty satisfied customer, so if the twins are evicted - heaven forbid! - they might have a business opportunity on the outside.

Cristian working out

Working out the Cristian way

Today's task started out with a physical challenge: housemates had to pedal a pushbike at 15mph while eating bananas on command. Three housemates tackled the bike, but only one asked Big Brother if the challenge could be made harder: step forward, fitness fanatic Cristian.

Cristian on the bike

Our Cristian is obviously a fan of working out on the regular. But while he's in the House, he's not going to have much access to workout equipment, or even that much space to run around in. Not to worry, though, he's a resourceful sort of chap, and has managed to find a few ways to feel the burn inside the House.

Cristian lifting his suitcase

Firstly, when the housemates' suitcases arrived, Cristian took the opportunity to pump some, er, suitcase out in the garden.

Cristian lifting a chair

And when Big Brother asked for the suitcases back, he found a substitute barbell in this chair. Judging by his facial expressions, it's pretty heavy.

Swimming

Cristian's next workout involved the swimming pool. While it's the biggest pool Big Brother housemates have ever been treated to, it's not exactly Olympic sized, so our superstar DJ had to enlist Jack's help. Innovative!

Cristian swimming in the garden

And speaking of innovation, it turns out Cristian doesn't even need a pool to go swimming, He's perfectly happy splashing through the air.

What next? Maybe a bit of trampolining in the bedroom, or hurdling over the Diary Room chair? We'll have to wait and see.

Everything you need to know about Day 3

The day started for Aaron as no day should, with an excitable Welshman jumping on his bed. Probably best not to keep that up Joel.

The housemates quickly turned their attentions to more important matters and tried to figure out how to tell the twins apart. They didn't come up with much because, you know, they look quite similar.

Adjoa solved the problem by just talking to both of them without using specific names. Clever. She wanted their thoughts about what might happen this Friday. They didn't know because, even though they are twins, they're not actually magic and can't see the future.

But thoughts of the future we quickly put in the past with the Killing Time task. First up was Joel, Cristian and Sarah, who had to ride a bike ride and then eat some bananas for some reason. It wasn't logical but it was funny.

Next up, some of the HMs had to solve maths problems while being periodically shot with paintballs, which was as hilarious as it sounds.

Then some of them had to pump up balloons, but sadly weren't shot or made to eat anything.

The final part of the task was a spelling test involving some fishy porridge and after some difficulties (particularly over the word 'canoe'), the HMs emerged victorious.

The third day in the house has been absolutely bananas.

Come back tomorrow for much more monkeying around (and some more fairly medicore puns).

Tonight on Big Brother's Bit On The Side: 15th May

Ooh, the House is really starting to warm up. There’s been bedroom bickering and the housemates have started fretting about eviction already. We’ve all got our opinions, but what do the superfans make of it all?

Well, we’ll find out when Union J heartthrob Jaymi Hensley, broadcasting legend Vanessa Feltz and former CBB housemate Chloe Goodman join Rylan to form the BBBOTS panel. And with former BB housemates Carol Vincent and Simon ‘Showbiz’ Gross – still reeling from his eviction five minutes into his residence in the House – propping up the bar, it’s going to be a goodun.

Still not convinced? There’ll also be a performance from '90s girl group Cleopatra. What we’re trying to say is: don’t you dare miss it!

Make sure you're watching on Channel 5 at 10.30pm.

Timebomb trio

Big Brother Timebomb EXPLOSION! Hit the road, Jack?

You guys have been plugging away with our poll to give your opinion on the winning housemate after barely any time at all - and now those votes have been counted. Yup, three housemates were called to the garden where one of them was declared your poll winner... Drum roll... our Jack the lad, Mr Pieface.

Jack was then called to the Diary Room where Big Bro told him he could either hit the road in a brand new motor and hi-jack (shall we stop this now?) the ENTIRE prize fund, or stay in the House and, well, remain a car-less.

Stay tuned for his decision.

Everything you need to know about Day 4

Remember back on Day 1 when no-one could imagine ever arguing with anyone else in the House? Well, we haven't had any full blown rows just yet, but the House Divide Threat Level is inching closer to Moderate than Low.

Aaron angry

The morning got off to a bad start when Aaron woke up and couldn't find his worry dolls. Did someone take them, or have they just fallen under his bed? It's anyone's guess.

Things got worse for poor old Aaron when a group meditation sesh led the housemates to get in touch with their real feelings - which, for Aaron, involved being annoyed with Joel. (Don't worry, though, they sorted it all out later.)

eileen acting

Speaking of real feelings, Eileen and Jade had a chinwag about acting, and how exactly one goes about crying on cue. (Spoiler alert: the key is using a raw onion.) Reckon we should be worried about our pair of starlets here, and what exactly their gameplans might be? Nah, it's all fine. Probably.

Kieran with mousse

Kieran spent the day getting up close and personal with his fellow housemates: first it was Chloe, who was on the recieving end of some hair mousse, and then it was Jade, who he sat uncomfortably close to. No, we don't really understand either.

Chloe pulling a face

The bathroom briefly became the House's main activity centre this afternoon, as Nick, Cristian, Joel and Jack attempted to find out how many housemates can comfortably fit in the extra-large bath, and Chloe and Joel wondered whether they might be asked to nominate face-to-face (while brushing their teeth).

The tension in the House increased this evening when Big Brother told the housemates to pack their bags. Assuming someone was going to be evicted, the housemates hurried to make sure they were ready to face their public, but no-one could have predicted the twist Big Brother really had in store...

Jack wins in a timebomb twist

Because in another timebomb twist, Jack was presented with an impossible choice. Chosen as the winner by you lot voting in a free app poll, Jack was offered a shiny new BMW if he left the Big Brother House immediately - and maxed out the prize fund in the process. Since he can't drive, he decided to stay, though the decision weighed so heavily on him he had to recover with a nice carrot.

Nick nominates

And as an added bit of drama, Nick was forced to make his first nominations, face-to-face with his housemates and live in front of the nation. He didn't find it very easy, for some reason. The housemates he chose to nom didn't take it particularly well, either.

What will tomorrow bring? Well, since this is Big Brother: Timebomb, it could be literally anything. Stay tuned.

Day 5: Task - Acting Out

Time for task, we reckon. Big Brother has called Eileen to the Diary Room for a secret mission.

Eileen was giving Jade an acting masterclass yesterday. She talks the talk, but can she walk the walk? Let’s find out! Today’s task will see Eileen to pretend she has different feelings towards certain housemates - following Big Brother's instructions at all times. Will they realise that she's acting? If not, Eileen will win a treat for the whole House.

She’s got previous as scream queen, but this could be her toughest gig yet?

Jack's guide to making yourself feel better after losing a 27k car

Loss is a part of life and, at some point, everyone needs to learn to cope with it. Thankfully, most of us won't have to cope with losing a spanking new car because, let's face it, we we probably wouldn't have been in the situation in the first place. But not Jack. Jack took the hit and came through smiling. Here's how to do it:

Take the nearest carrot straight to bed

What's up, Jack?

Apply pillows to the face and stomach

Do not attempt without goosedown.

Eat copious amounts of cereal

This was at 1am.

Jump in the pool with your favourite flannel

Jack's almost back to his old self.

Finally, and most crucial of all, eat some more cereal

Great technique.

Everything you need to know about Day 5

The twins got up in a bad mood this morning after being woken in the middle of the night by some very silly pillow fighting. Have they watched the show before?

The other girls were in a mischievous mood and hatched a plan to give match making Kieran a taste of his own medicine by getting Adjoa to flirt with him.

But the acting didn't stop there becuase after Eileen's masterclass yesterday, BB set her the challenge of convinving different housemates that she had certain feelings towards them. First up was was 'desire' towards Aaron, which resulted in a very steamy massage

Next, Eileen had to pretend to be scared and then completely lost her cool when she thought that Sarah had been using her hairbrush. We think she was acting but it was so realistic, we're not quite sure.

Anger turned to (sort of) love when Danny opened his heart to Adjoa about his feelings for Sarah. He thinks she's HOT.

Soon though the housemates found out that they were getting a party thanks to Eileen's truly memorable performance.

So the housemates got their glad rags on and got ready to party. Naughty old Nick had to serve the champers becuase he had been talking about noms earlier.

They danced a bit of the night away before talk quickly turned back to Sarah and Danny and their not quite burgeoning romance. But the real revelation came when Kieran told Nick that he thought Jade fancied him. Nick wasn't convinced.

Day five has seen love in the air and dance moves on the floor.

Come back tomorrow to see who'll be next to couple up.

First round of Big Brother 2015 nominations kick off

Big Brother

The Big Brother 2015 housemates have kicked off their first round of nominations.

On Friday night, Nick Henderson became the first person to nominate and did so face to face.

It was after he was ‘cursed’ with having to nominate face to face every week during a launch night twist.

He nominated Adjoa Mensah because they had talked the least and Sarah Greenwood because of her comments about being turned on by money in a task.

Crying in the Diary Room to Big Brother in last night’s show, Adjoa said: “I fell so stressed out and it’s so frustrating to meâ€ĶAll eyes are on meâ€ĶI feel paranoidâ€Ķ I felt singled outâ€ĶHe nominated me firstâ€ĶI just didn’t like the feeling, I hated it. I don’t want to be upset but I just felt so singled outâ€ĶI didn’t know how to react to itâ€Ķit’s just not a nice feeling”

Today the rest of the housemates are nominating in the privacy of the Diary Room. Their votes will be combined with Nick’s public choices to decide who will face the first ‘real’ eviction of the series on Friday night.

Twins Amy sand Sally insisted they were “not worried”, adding: “It is what it is.”

The pair will act as one housemate for the nominations (which has confused some of the other housemates) and the Manchester duo think it may put them at a disadvantage.

“You might be like ‘I really like Amy but I’ve not really got on with Sally’,” they suggested.

The nomination results and fallout will be covered on a 90 minute special of Bit On The Side tomorrow (Monday) night with Rylan Clark, straight after the main show on Channel 5.

For now, BB airs tonight at 9PM on Channel 5.

Danny and Sarah

The five stages of the Danny and Sarah love story

This year there aren't many obvious couples emerging (except for Jade and Nick obviously) but Danny and Sarah have been making eyes at each other like teenagers in the playground. Here's the five very, very, very steamy stages of their relationship so far.

1. Sitting reasonably close to each other

This picture is all about what you can't see.

2. Pillow talk

Get a room, please. Oh, they've already got one (with 13 other people).

3. Nail painting

Is there anything more intimate than that? (yes, lots)

4. Late night frolicks

The next step up from pillow fighting is full blown....love.

5. Declaration of love(ish)

Danny basically said Sarah was the love of his life. OK, not quite but he did in our minds.

Everything you need to know about Day 6

The housemates must have been a little groggy this morning because they had some frankly worrying theories on where eggs come from. The world they live in must be a terrifying place.

One misunderstanding led to another when Adjoa found out that some people think she's an introvert. That's not the word we would use.

Adjoa was a little upset again because she thought Harriet didn't like her because she had eaten some of her crisps. She's not Gary Lineker.

But the mood soon lightened up when Kieran overrheard that Sarah and Danny were bed-hopping. Sadly, it wasn't in the way Kieran thought.

Then, for reasons that remain troublingly unclear, Jade found a shoe in the fridge. That's what that cheesy smell was.

Towards the end of the day match making/stuff stiring Kieran told Jade that Nick really likes her and wanted to take her out. We're not convinced that Nick said any of this.

After a few hectic days, day six proved to be a little calmer and slightly surreal. But that's not the full story becuase housemates nominated today! See what happened on the highlights show on Monday night on Channel 5 at 10pm.

You really don't want to miss it.

Tonight on Big Brother's Bigger Bit On The Side - 18th May

On tonight's highlights show, we're set to find out the results of the House's first nominations. And you know who's going to have something to say about that? Yup, Rylan and his star-studded BOTS panel.

Tonight on the show we've got agony aunt Denise Robertson, TOWIE star Bobby Norris, and former housemate-turned-presenter Ray Shah. Former footballer Jimmy Bullard will also be dropping by - we can't keep him away, basically!

Also, one of the most legendary Celebrity Big Brother housemates...

That's right, Lauren Harries is going to be here! So don't go anywhere else. Big Brother's Bigger Bit On The Side, Channel 5, 11pm.

Big Brother 2015 housemates nominate FACE TO FACE!

Big Brother

The Big Brother 2015 housemates all nominated face to face yesterday in a shock twist.

On Friday night, Nick Henderson became the first person to nominate and he did so face to face after being ‘cursed’ with having to make his nominations publicly every week during a launch night twist.

He nominated Adjoa Mensah because they had talked the least and Sarah Greenwood because of her comments about being turned on by money in a task.

However it turns out that Big Brother sprung a surprise on the group yesterday as instead of calling them to the privacy of the Diary Room to nominate, they also had to vote face to face.

Their votes will be combined with Nick’s public choices to decide who will face the first ‘real’ eviction of the series on Friday night.

The results and reactions of these nominations will be aired in the highlights tonight on Channel 5 at 10PM, with lines then opening straight after for viewers to vote for which one will go.

The nomination results and fallout will also be covered on a 90 minute special of Bit On The Side tonight with Rylan Clark, straight after the main show onChannel 5.

Everything you need to know about Day 7

The housemates were feeling a little worse for wear this morning. Having said that, Joel had a spring in his step, as he began the day showing Adjoa a dance called Feed The Pigeons. His tipple of choice when wowing the Cardiff clubs with these moves? Lemonade, of course.

Feed the pigeons

And the good times continued to roll in the House, as the housemates remembered Joel and Sarah LOCKING LIPS the night before. Nick denied it, but we have evidence of both the event and of "tongue action."

Nick and Jade

Tongues have been wagging elsewhere too: there have been rumours of romance around Danny and Sarah. But is there any truth to them? Nick took on the role of investigator and prised the truth out of Sarah. What a sneaky devil he is.

Sarah

Having settled once and for all how chickens lay eggs (sort of), Nick decided to use the House eggs to bake a cake. But not everyone was happy with his plan.

And after all that tomfoolery and gossip, the day took a turn for the serious. The public had been voting for our reisdents in certain categories - some flattering, some insulting - and the housemates were tasked with guessing who had been voted for what. Cue plenty of awkward laughter.

After that, things got even MORE serious, as housemates found out what they really think of them. Egos were shattered, confidence was boosted - and there was plenty of discussion of the results.

How will these revelations affect the House dynamics? Stick with us to find out...

Tonight on Big Brother's Bit On The Side - 19th May

With nominations, tears and unlikely 'romances', the House is really starting to come to life and Rylan is going to have his hands full tonight trying to sort it all out.

Luckily for him, and us, he's got some great help in the lovely form of the wonderous Christopher Biggins.

Joining Biggins on the panel are the very funny Matt Richardson and the master of body language herself, Judi James.

It would be very silly to miss it, so write this down: Channel 5, 11.00pm.
