Jason actually cracks a smile tonight.
Medics are called as no one knows how this will affect him, he is under observation. So far there seems to be no obvious side-effects.
A crack team of plastic surgeons are standing by to reconstruct his usual miserable visage should a smile become permanent, although early signs show a return to miserable is likely.

I had actually heard of most of the contestants on those first few C4 CBB series - but thinking back the cast was smaller and the run-time shorter; quality over quantity, perhaps!

I think they truncated it because it was falling so flat CS ....then they had to devise ways to quickly get the numbers down

That Sunday night double was a pathetic idea - though from what I've read - the actual result was one of the best moments of the series.
