I think he's just thought to himself he has nothing to lose as he is up for eviction. I think he meant every word - dob't think it was for air time.

yes agree soozy - i feel he meant that as well and he Benedict genuinely felt Caroline had gone too far

I agree to some extent with both of you, but he has been talking before about Caroline, to Luke A and Lydia.... he just seemed to be waiting for an opening to get her. I dont like her at all, and she deserved every word he said, but Connor was in on that conversation to some extent and he didn't attack him. I find it very convenient he just suddenly got into character. I wish it was two others who were up, because i do admit, if he carries on this way, he'll be really interesting to watch

Pretty close

Kaytee, the odds are only for being evicted.

i.e. Bendy is 2/1 on, to be evicted

Lauren is 6/4 against, to be evicted.

It may sound contradictory, but odds of something happening are not always the same as odds for it NOT to happen.

Not really that close if you express it as a decimal.

Bendy is 0.5

Lauren is 1.5

YEs he's a forer student of his....a bit odd i thought when i found out he'd made a false facebook account to talk to students online. Part of the reason he was sacked.

yes  i thought that was dubious at the time

I'd really like to see and hear a full explanation about that before I comment.

If it's in the red tops I'm afraid I start shovelling salt, Bethni

Hackney Gazzette

Hackney resident Benedict Garrett was suspended from his teaching job in Redbridge after bosses became aware students had watched him online appearing in a trailer for an adult film in June 2010, under his alias “Johnny Anglais”.

Benedict had started work at Beal High School in January 2008 as head of the personal, social, and health education (PSHE) department.

The 32-year-old, who is now appearing on Channel 5’s reality show Big Brother, along with 15 other contestants, lives with his 18-year-old foster son – his former student.

Last September, Benedict told the Gazette he had rescued the boy, who was 17 at the time, from an Islamic school in India after the teenager contacted him for help, saying he had been sent there from the UK against his wishes.

Benedict said he paid for the boy’s ticket home, and was subsequently cleared by Hackney social services to look after him.

Benedict told Big Brother viewers his personality sometimes rubs people up the wrong way.

“I think sometimes I get accused of being condescending to some people – patronizing,” he said. “That might come from the fact I used to be a teacher.

“I have quite strong opinions and I think people sometimes find that quite difficult to deal with.”

Benedict won the right to continue teaching at a hearing last September but was handed a reprimand by the General Teaching Council after being found guilty of unacceptable professional misconduct.
