There's been some discussion of this on DS, but the chains were chosen randomly. There are some techniques to speed things up, and I think Lewis just kept calm and got on with it.
The thing is: Lewis was safe whether he won the Gamechanger or not, because there was absolutely no way Cameron would evict him over Akeem or Isabella.
If you're looking for a conspiracy theory, consider why BB decided that the richest HM would decide alone who was evicted, and why there were no BigCoin tasks during the week that would have allowed other HMs to overtake Cameron as richest HM...
