TBH, I think he could only have avoided it by either winning the Gamechanger, or else the GBP voted for "Vote-to-Save in the poll and Isabella didn't win the Gamechanger.
Any other scenario requires tactical voting by the GBP, and we all know the voting public's dreadful at that...
