Just to clarify: I think it would be a very big deal for Cameron personally. I can fully understand why he'd prefer his family to find out something that personal from himself first, rather than by hearing it on some tacky gameshow.
...And that's notwithstanding the risk that any "revelation" he makes on BB - no matter how sincere - could be dismissed by some as just a piece of cynical game-playing...

I agree it's pretty-much - *ahem* - out there now anyway. As I said earlier, most viewers who saw his Diary Room chat early in the series would have put 2 and 2 together already. I saw a few comments at the time saying that BB had effectively outed him, although in (mild) defence of BB, Cameron would (or at least should) have been aware that DR chat is not guaranteed to be kept secret from the public.
I know there's talk on DS that he'll come out when he's up for eviction, however - again given how much has already been discussed - I think that would be a mistake that could backfire badly.

I stand corrected. He said he was involved in drugs, theft and arson but, no convictions.
