It might have technically been a rule break (they're not supposed to tamper with another HM's puzzle), but Akeem stated clearly during the game what he was doing and why. He saw that he and Lewis G had duplicate pieces; deduced that they'd accidentally got mixed-up, and swapped them because otherwise both their puzzles would be impossible...
