Did Marc ever join in while Helen was having her shouting matches with Belo?  you know the answer to that is NO.

Marc's problem is that he doesn't know when to stop and can't get his head around others not sharing his idea of 'banter. Incidentally there's a good discussion going on in DS about this at the moment: http://forums.digitalspy.co.uk...8756095#post78756095

And Brian went in there 'guns blazing' to get at Marc on entering the house...(that was his 'job')....Marc was playing 'the game' as a housemate, Brian was playing 'the game' to make Marc look bad from the get go.

In the interest of fairness, I'm going to have to pull you up on that one.

Now Marc is very antagonistic  but he ain't bloody evil! Perspective people and all that. I still quite like him a bit.Compared to some of the dross in there he has delivered.

Is being called a psycho really that bad, is it on a par with what Helen said?  and Marc said that long after the main Belo/Helen row had finished, and when Belo was attacking Marc.

Belo does behave a bit like a psycho when he's angry.

She also said some things that I agreed with..........and I dislike her immensely...

He/she is merely parroting Mark's tactic of demanding specifics, which some people in the thread have actually given. Elsewhere, another DS forumer made the excellent point that you can often get a general sense of what someone is doing without remembering many specific examples of that behaviour. That's particularly true of Marc I think, who doesn't tend to have big tirades against people, but niggles away at them gradually. I'm not sure if it's a deliberate tactic of his, or if that's just the way he is.

He 'takes her side' by declining to see any wrong in anything she did at the time and by not supporting those she hurt.

Love this description of Marc from DS Its like having an over hyperactive clever chimpanzee on speed in your ear all the time.

At some point I expect I'll have a good old rant about my disappointment with this series, but I just don't have the energy at the moment.

One mans antagonising is another mans joking around.

Brian can be seen as a wind up merchant, the way he behaves, his idea of banter might not be to everyones taste.

But again, no one can come up with anything that Marc did that was so terrible to Brian...and even little niggles someone could have come up with something better than "splashing Brian with water in the pool"...oh dear, that's really pathetic.

OMG! I just looked out the back window onto my back lawn and there was a hedgehog on the grass,fab,I ain't seen one in thirty years! I went out quietly and he/ she just looked at me a bit and trundled off into the shrubs.Now I'm in Glasgow  in an urban area so hopefully the wee hogs are doing well.Their numbers have fallen drastically..oh I'm all excited!

I was giving a friend a lift home

During a chat we both saw a hedgehog - we watched it for a few mins

Nothing unusual.
