Agree Baz the whole premise of the original show is long gone alas.The diary room was always a place to go and nothing there would be revealed.The show now is all about lining up arguments etc.Folk on DS stating the same.

Actually, she has a point in this case: as Chloe pointed out earlier, he's made absolutely no attempt to learn anything about his other HMs.

I liked the sanctuary aspect of the DR - it let you know how a HM really felt about the others...without ALWAYS having to cause a row etc.
Mind you, I also like a good row
