Yes she did, quite clever in trying to mitigate putting him in the box (which in actuality was not so bad). Pauline could now pick one of the "beauties" to face weekly eviction which would not make her unpopular one bit. If she is playing a game the pieces seem to be falling into place quite quick and well.
Time will tell.

Well: right from the start I got the feeling that Chris really shouldn't have been allowed in the house, if you know what I mean...
Having said that, I thought Pauline's reaction was understandable, and the other HMs she was talking to seemed to agree: remember the reaction when Sandy urinated in the bin in BB3, or for Jay's behaviour in BB12? The fact is that some previous HMs have behaved disgustingly in the house, so if you're going to claim that - for example - you're going to "pee in the kitchen", you have to expect some of the HM will assume you're serious.
It's easy to say that he only said it for effect, but we don't have to live with him. I say again, though, that my real beef is with BB for putting him in there...
