I stuck a tenner on Ashleigh at 20/1 after the Jale eviction - although i agreed with your opinion that she would be too much of a "marmite" character.
In my defence, I said she was considered too marmite "at the moment" (or WTTE). I genuinely thought she'd cracked it in the last couple of weeks - then BB started playing up the Ashleigh/Helen rivalry...
TBH though I really should have put some money on Helen - even at 35/1. With a free pass to the final, those odds always looked unrealistically long...
I couldn't bring myself to place money on her but i could see the shift across social media throughout the week. Although, without that fake eviction i doubt she would have won (based on the quoted percentage).

Yes the show is trashy, but we (the GBP) could have risen this show above that.
We, if we were ever a great British public, should have switched off before Day 2. To watch the show is to condone it. I'm guilty, we all are.

Not to shout abuse about HM's wherever I found an outlet.

She's a marriage breaking, tabloid kiss and tell tramp, aggressive little bully...if your delighted with that tramp winning then good for you.
But it's not a bad thing to think you are better than somebody else when you actually are.
I actually wanted Chris to win, and wouldn't have minded if Ash won. Once it was between Ashleigh, Christopher and Helen I wanted Helen. If that means I can amuse myself and laugh at the irony of her detractors spouting the same kind of aggressive, nasty, self righteous, judgemental rubbish as she did that's my prerogative

I don't think it's helpful to base your view of the state of the nation on a c5 reality show.
It's mainly young people that vote on this show, our future.
Why would this deeply unpleasant person, with no nice or positive personality traits win this show, win 100k?
I think part of the problem is that only see her in one dimension, if you reign in your knee jerk reaction to her, I think you'll find she has other facets to her character, she has humour, can be self effacing, she is loyal to her friends,there may be more to her, but hard to know from this type of tv show.
And of course she has all those bad traits as well, but is being gobby,bitchy always right, really so bad?
She slept with men who were married, says way more about those men, she was paid for it,it's her body she can do as she likes with it.
My "knee jerk reaction"? I've had 10 weeks of watching her and seeing her behaviour...hardly "knee jerk".
For the last time for the hard of understanding, im not justifying what the married men did, but she was the one who offered her "services", she could and should have kept anything that went on in the bedroom to herself, not blabbed to the tabloids for money...she ruined a lot of peoples lives...most of them innocent ones.
I didn't see her humour TBH, just loud mouth aggression and nastiness...if anyone disagreed with her she'd call them names and be abusive to them...she'd shout over anyone with differing opinions to her.
She was and no doubt still is a horrible person...the BB warnings she got would have got other HM's booted out (and has done in the past), she was helped by the BB producers, editors and the BBBOTS "Helen is on a journey" fan club...they all influenced and conned the GBP.
But this sin't proper BB vids, it's c5 trash tv reality show, it has nothing in common with BB.
She didn't run to the press' she defended herself whan an article was rwitten about her.
You do have a knee jerk reaction, logically you have to know that no one, not even Helen, is one dimensional, it's easier to hate her if you confine her in that space marked'nasty, vile' and nothing else, but it will never make it true.
I don't think you intend it to sound this way, but your "knee jerk reaction" comment is a little patronising, we all watched Helen (and all the others) for 10 weeks, plenty of time to get to know the HM's.
I have no doubt that she loves her son, she loves/likes her friends, that she strokes dogs and cats and wont harm animals...but that doesn't mean she isn't aggressive, rude, abusive and horrible to most people.
There were more deserving and decent people than her in BB15.
Whether this is trashy reality TV or not, 100k was on offer, that is a life changing amount of money, Helen didn't deserve it by the way she treated others in that house.
