Big Brother bosses are planning a huge new twist later this month.
Starting on July 14, straight after the World Cup 2014 final, Big Brother: Armageddon begins on Channel 5.
Lasting for at least four nights according to the latest TV schedules, the new twist will run every night until Thursday, July 17.
Not much (well, nothing if weâre totally honest) is known about the twist yet, other than it begins with âDay 1âē on Monday, July 14 at 10PM.
Day 2, 3 and 4 duly follow across the week until Thursday.
No doubt itâs hoped that the twist will boost ratings which have struggled against big World Cup matches since the launch.
Last weekâs run of episodes notched up an average 1.2 million viewers, down on last yearâs equivalent weekly average of 1.37 million.
And this week is looking to fare even worse with ratings having currently averaged just 1.1 million viewers, down on last yearâs equivalent weekly average of 1.42 million.
Weâll have more details on the Big Brother Armageddon twist very soon but for now, Big Brother continues nightly as always on Channel 5.
