Well that's true enough!

My daughter was the teen from hell....convent boarding schools went through my mind more than once, but like all teens the time passed and she turned into a credit to us both, I would never have put her into care though, but then she didn't move in with a bf at 16 and had far too much sense than to get pregnant

had much the same experience within my own family Kaytee.... hate to think what would have happened if the parents involved had stopped trying.

Exactly Bethni

You mean because they were a middle class family  Don't think that can be said, who knows what life was like behind their closed doors and the mask of the 'respectable middle class family'

Don't know about her mum but she certainly didn't appear to have had any support from her father when she 'went off the rails' as so many teenagers do.

I think the point being made is that lots of girls get a worse start than Helen, and don't turn out like she has .....

Her vile nasty aggressive behaviour is why I hate her .

The Matt argument that resulted in her 15th warning should have seen her removed imo.

Helen rules that house and every Hm that has been evicted has confirmed that ,the 'experts' on the panel of BBBOTS have all also said the same ...we can't all be wrong .Journey my arse.

She didn't move in with her bf Kaytee, she ran away from home to her friends, was put into foster care and when pregnant, was moved

I was meaning children who have been abused, neglected, starved, not sent to school because their parents couldn't be bothered getting up to send them, never had holidays, second hand clothes that didn't fit..... the list could go on. She seems to be relatively well educated, certainly not thick.... and she chose the lifestyle she did, she wasn't dealt it.

Seems that what some of her haters think that. Whilst not condoning her behaviour, I'm interested in how someone should turn out like that. Plenty of us have been/had teenagers from hell but weren't disowned by their parents. Hell my older sister, (private school/ convent educated) was an absolute nightmare and got pregnant when she was 16, she put my parents through hell and back, but they supported her and the baby, both emotionally and financially

Nature v Nurture ? I tend to think a bit of both .....

I think you will find that they will , if they feel the child is out of control ...

Baz they can't put a child into care without either parental consent or a court  (Care) order and believe me that won't happen in those circumstances these days, (used to many years ago) Trust me, I've worked in this field for 30 odd years

Oh ok ....

A parent wouldn't need to consent if a court order was issued or a place of safety order - or is that just in Scotland? So in Helen's case, perhaps her parents didn't refuse to have her back in the house as you suggested in an earlier post, and SS applied for a court order?
