Day 4: Like a puppet on a string

Earlier today, the housemates watched on as Michael let loose in the Diary Room and told Big Brother exactly what he thought about his fellow dwellers – or at least, what he wanted them to think.

As you would imagine, the Irishman didn't have too many favourable things to say about his roomies and it's fair to that a few feathers were ruffled – particularly those of ladies man Dexter, who seemed genuinely upset and slightly confused about Michael's actions.

However, it seems his turn in the Diary Room may have caused an even bigger stir as some of the housemates have started to question whether he is in fact a real housemate.  Our puppet may have to step up his game if he doesn't want to be caught out, as he has none other than D.I. Dan on his case who rightly suspects that he may be an imposter.

Will Michael be able to convince him otherwise? We'll have to wait and find out...

Day 4 round up: The puppet springs to life

As day dawned on Day 4 in the Big Brother: Secrets and Lies House, Sam made friends with the garden mangle and Sallie and Hazel got silly and played a little game of hide the choccies. Fun all round, eh?

The Peoples' Puppet Michael had a task, to ask questions of the other housemates. He went at this task with some gusto, asking Gina who the biggest wannabe in the House is, to which she answered that she wasn't a fan of Dexter. He then cosied up to Sallie to ask who she fancied the most, and she said Callum, which didn't surprise Michael at all.

As ever, there was a lot of pent-up energy in the House, which the housemates worked off with, you guessed it, a lovely work out. They also got a lovely dance lesson from none other than yummy mummy Jackie, who taught them some moves like Jagger. After their high energy afternoon, Jemima was happy to give out massages to relax her housemates.

With Monday's nominations weighing heavy on the housemates' minds, Michael was called into the Diary Room to discuss his potential choices with Big Brother and, of course, the housemates were gathered round the TV to watch as he opened up on his misgivings about Dexter, Sallie, the twins and Gina.

Needless to say, this caused some ructions, and had some of the housemates doubting Michael's authenticity. D.I. Dan, in particular, was very suspicious.

After long, though, harmony returned to the House, with a cheeky game of I Have Never, even though the House is totally bereft of any booze. Bless them.

Tonight on Big Brother's Bit on the Side: Monday 17th June

We've squeezed so many guests into tonight's Bit on the Side that there's barely room for Rylan and AJ.

Ex-housemate Nikki Grahame will be putting her unique spin on the housemates' actions so far, along with impressionist Francine Lewis and Sugababe Amelle Berrabah. What a trio of lovely ladies.

And there's more. Life coach Pam Spurr will be on the sofa analysing housemates' behaviour.

Tune in to Channel 5 at 11pm. You won't want to miss it.
