Day 20 round-up: The nom bomb aftermath

After Big Brother dropped the face-to-face nom bomb the night before, it was no wonder that nominee Dan woke up in a bit of a grump on Day 20. But what better way to cheer you up than a few soothing words from a Welshman... Ah Sam, what a lush boyo!

And talking about nominations, it's probably not surprising that housemates in the firing line had a few things to say about their rocky position – well, apart from veteran nominee Gina that is, who as usual is taking the news like water off a duck’s back.

There was a welcomed respite from nomination nattering in the afternoon, however, in the form the 5,4,3,2,1 task. Highlights from the first day of the two day task included the housemates stripping off for Dexter, a bouncing extravaganza, a truthful game of 'fill in the blank' and a cheeky sour surprise. It’s not looking too good for them so far though, they’re going to have to step up their game if they want to win a luxury budget this week.

In the evening the nomination fallout picked up, with a teary moment from Dan and Wolfy declaring her new plan of action to combat Dan's interrogations. Meanwhile, Dexter and Gina released some tension by playing a game of  a chase in the garden. Aww, how fun.

So that was day 20, but what will the scamps get up to today we wonder? Stick with us to find out.

BB WOLFY'S DEATH THREATS

3rd July 2013

By Jimmy McCloskey

SWAGGERING Big Brother star Wolfy Millington was hit by death threats yesterday after boasting: β€œI’ll make the final”.

The lesbian fisherwoman, 20, was the target of online abuse following her outburst on the Channel 5 reality show.

Big Brother bosses are monitoring the internet ahead of Friday’s eviction and will step up security around Wolfy if she is booted out.

A BB insider said: β€œIt’s normal for viewers to really like a housemate at the start of the show and go off them a few weeks later.

β€œBut we’ve never seen them turn against someone so quickly.

β€œIt seems as if some people might think all the tears and drama are just for the cameras when they see how confident she can be.”

The Wolfy backlash began after her cocky chat with socialite Dexter Koh, 28.

She told him: β€œI’m your biggest competition here. Everyone knows I’m going to make it to the final. I’m so chilled. I know I ain’t going nowhere.”

Big Brother fans turned on the hippy on the internet.

Reggie wrote: β€œAwww I wish Wolfy wud just roll off a f***ing cliff right on to a huge spike n die.”

Sophie Clewley raged: β€œOmg! #BB wolfy needs to be booted out! β€˜we all know I’m making it to the final’ please die!

Kerry Williams tweeted: β€œHow the hell has nobody punched wolfy yet! Just do the world a favour and die you silly cow. What a freak! Utter Scum! Ass!”

Haile Selassie spat: β€œWolfy needs to die of diabetes or something – sharpish.”

And Ella wrote: β€œi hate wolfy lol shut up you selfish fishy lesbo.”

Tonight housemates will have the chance to spare one of the four nominees, live on air.

Bookmakers Ladbrokes now make Wolfy 2-5 favourite to be evicted, well ahead of Dexter, (7-2) and former policeman Dan Neal, 33, (7-1).

Rich bitch Gina Rio is 10-1 to get the boot.

Tonight On Big Brother's Bit On The Side: Wednesday 3rd July

We're looking forward to a splendid evening of Bit On The Side fun tonight with a packed panel of Big Brother favourites. Former 2012 housemates Lauren Carre and Adam Kelly are coming to Elstree to give us an insider's perspective on all the in-House events so far this series and, on top of that lovely pair, we've also got Shaun Williamson – otherwise forever known as Barry from EastEnders – coming along to add a touch of class to proceedings. With all that and body language expert Judi James coming around the corner, you'd better not have any other plans.

See you tonight at 11pm on Channel 5 for what's essentially the aftershow party.

Day 21: 5,4,3,2,1 continues with Three Of A Kind

A trio of our beautiful housemates attempted to crack part three of the 5,4,3,2,1 task this morning. Big Brother requested that three housemates who are "on the same wavelength" journey to the Diary Room and, while Jackie attempted to round up two pals, Charlie and Daley legged it up the stairs, closely pursued, controversially by Dexter.

Not exactly a threesome you'd describe as "in sync", adorned with glittery bow ties, this triumvirate attempted to answer questions like "Who's the laziest housemate?" and "Who's most fun?", in silence and using cards with HMs faces emblazoned across them. Here's how they voted...

Who's most fun?

Charlie - Jack & Joe
Daley - Jack & Joe
Dexter - Jack & Joe

Who's most easily offended?

Charlie - Wolfy
Daley - Wolfy
Dexter - Dan

Who's most likely to win?

Charlie - Jack & Joe
Daley - Jack & Joe
Dexter - Jack & Joe

Who's laziest?

Charlie - Gina
Daley - Sam
Dexter - Wolfy

Who's most self-obsessed?

Charlie - Gina
Daley - Dexter
Dexter - Gina

Who's most unpleasant?

Charlie - Dexter
Daley - Dexter
Dexter - Dexter

Who's the bossiest?

Charlie - Jackie
Daley - Joe
Dexter - Jackie

Who's cleverest?

Charlie - Dan
Daley - Dan
Dexter - Dan

Who's kindest?

Charlie - Callum
Daley - Jackie
Dexter – Callum

So it turns out these three were on the same wavelength when it came to four of the categories but, considering Big Brother wanted five correct answers out of nine, that's just not going to cut it.

Sorry, ladies and gents of the House – that's another chunk of your shopping budget flushed down the toilet. Say goodbye to assorted chocs, sweets and other delightful comestibles...

2.10pm: Uh oh. It's time again. BB says it's a "very physical task". *Gulp*

2.13pm: Sam and Dan are taking on a task called Two Peas In a Pod. We've a feeling this one may get silly.

2.27pm: Dan and Sam are squeezing on their pea outfits. Bright green and skintight. Beautiful. Verdant. Rustic.

2.38pm: Dan and Sam are now dressed as peas. They look staggering. Pictorial evidence will follow.

Day 21: Friends like peas

The housemates have really been pulling together throughout the 5,4,3,2,1, task so it has been easy to overlook the fact that not everyone has been involved.

One housemate in particular was feeling like a bit of a spare part. Following the Three of a Kind task, Sam revealed that he was seemed to be left out and would like to take part. He was concerned his hearing impairment might hold him back.

"It's not about your hearing. It's about choosing the right people for the task," Dan told him. "You've got to think about what they are asking, not who hasn't gone yet.  It's now getting serious, that's all." Wise words or did someone call the fun police?

When the alarm sounded, BB announced two housemates who didn't get along but could prove they were able to work together were required. Dan put himself and Sam forward – what a mate - and they slipped into green lycra suits and squeezed into a single pea pod suit.

In the garden Big Brother fired peas at the podded pair who had to catch then and pop them into a second pod. And they made it look easy-peasy.

With one final task left to complete, we're just waiting for Gina to step up to the plate...
