Day 40: Today's task is The Commission

Luke S is on the receiving end of a prank this afternoon – but it's not his old pals Conor and Arron who're responsible.

Big Brother is going to try and convince Luke that outside talent agencies and TV companies want HIM â€Ķ but first he’ll have to prove he has what it takes.

Big Brother has called Luke S to the Diary Room where he's being told that, at this point in the series, it’s not unusual for outside media agencies to show interest in housemates for work post-Big Brother. Big Brother will also imply that it is not unusual for us to help facilitate these requests – sometimes even when the housemate is still in the House – and that today, waiting in the Small Task Room is a media representative who would like to meet Luke S for an informal chat about work opportunities.

Housemates will be informed of the prank via a plasma presentation and will be instructed to play along. The media representative, Leon, will ask Luke S to do three things and ask him not to discuss this meeting with any of his fellow housemates.

Because of his incredible physique, it’s only natural that Luke should have his own calendar. Luke S will be asked to pose and dress up in various ridiculous seasonal outfits in front of a photo backdrop for some test shots.

Luke S will also be asked to go into the garden and do a test workout in front of one of the camera mirrors for Leon to record. If there are any housemates nearby, Luke S must clear them out of the area.

In a final chat with Leon, Luke S will be offered his very own TV show in which he'll travel around the world to the most glamorous clubs meeting the world’s hottest women. But Leon needs to know if his relationship with Ashleigh is genuine and will last outside the House...

This should be interesting. We'll let you know how Luke gets on when the task finishes up later on.

7.02pm: Scott and co are discussing Boyzone in the bedroom. As long as they don't start re-creating their hits we'll be happy

7.13pm: Big Brother has announced that Luke S has passed his special task. The HM's will be rewarded with champagne and sushi

7.15pm: He's now trying to convince the housemates that he knew the talent agency was a fake. We're not so sure!

Day 40: Luke S steps up to the mark

It's safe to say that Luke S has fallen hook, line and sinker fortoday's secret task. He has been convinced by Big Brother that an outside agency is interested in developing some future projects with him - and he's taking the proposition very, very seriously.

First up was the test calendar shoot, where he was plied with a variety of seasonal props for his 'sultry' calendar, including a tennis racket and balls, reindeer antlers and a rose. Luke S took to it like a baby takes to milk, giving the camera his best'blue steel'. You could say he was a natural - or at least vain enough to throw himself in to the swing of things.

Emerging from the Diary Room, he focused on the next part of his task – his 'workout DVD test shoot'. Dressed in some tiny little shorts, he rounded up some willing participants in the form of Deana, Scott and Lauren, and put them through their paces in a series of endurance exercises. While whipping the housemates in to a sweaty mess, he made sure that he always kept his best side to the camera – what a pro.

Meanwhile, the other housemates watched on from the living room, knowing full well that it was all a set up. "I'm struggling to even look at him 'cause it's so embarrassing for him," Becky commented. "I know he'll get upset, I genuinely feel sorry for him," Caroline added.

Although the other housemates are enjoying the prank, they're slightly worried that he won't see the funny side of it. What – Luke S takes himself too seriously? Surely not.

Even his girlfriend is struggling with his over-zealousness. "It's so cringey. It's making me feel sick," Ashleigh said, referring to Luke S's lovey-dovey behaviour in the garden.

The muscle-mad club promoter has been told that he needs to show different sides to his personality as part of the casting processing. He's showed his 'playful' side with aseries of pranks involving Conor, and his sensitive side by twirling Ashleigh around the garden and telling all and sundry that they are "completely compatible."  Ahhh, so sweet...

For the last part of the task, the 'media representative' will ask him whether he would do a show with Ashleigh, or go it alone. If he signs for the show, the housemates will win a reward this evening.

But the big question is - Will he bring Ashleigh on board or will her drop her quicker than you can say "world's hottest women".

Adam and Deana argue over dresses!

Big Brother’s Deana got slightly miffed with Adam in the house this afternoon, after the pair clashes over dresses.

As a joke, Adam decided to throw Deana’s neat piles of dresses she had organised around the bedroom.

Deana screamed: “Adamâ€Ķ no, no, no!”

She told him: “You know what, I’m not talking to you piss off. How dare you?”

Deana moaned at the former LA gangster as Lauren offered a helping hand to re-sort the dresses: “Do you know how long it is going to take me to do this again?

“This was tidy! It’s not going to get any more tidy than this.”

Adam was rather unsympathetic to Deana’s plight, telling her: “Oh Deanaâ€Ķ sort through it again!”

Deana quipped: “You’re so cheekyâ€Ķ watch now, it’s war!”

Big Brother 2012: Housemates think Conor will win!

The Big Brother housemates have been discussing who they think will win the series, and Conor seems to the name on most of their lips!

Having now survived three evictions, it’s no wonder that the group reckon he’s a sure bet to make the final.

Speaking this afternoon, Ashleigh revealed: “I actually thought she was going to win, I thought Shievonne was going to win it. Shievonne, Conor or you, Becks.”

A confident Caroline stated: “Conor’s going to win it.”

Becky meanwhile laughed off Ashleigh’s suggestion: “Don’t be so stupid, don’t be ridiculous, that’s the most stupidest thing you’ve ever said Ashleighâ€Ķ I couldn’t win, no way.”

Caroline explained: “Initially, I thought it would be between Conor or Luke. Or Victoria.”

“God no,” quipped Ashleigh.

Prompting Caroline to recall: “I remember when I woke up in the middle of the night laughing, I had a dream that Victoria Sponge won Big Brother!”

The housemates are unaware that it’s currently Adam who is favourite to win the show, the name that none of them mentioned!

Day 40: Task won, dignity lost

Luke S spent today having his ego stroked by a so-called talent agent who had the housemate's mind wandering with wild dreams of reality shows, calendars and workout DVDs.

But his ego is now well and truly bruised after Big Brother announced the results of the task, and the truth; not only that the agent was fake and it was all a big prank, but that his fellow housemates were in on it too. The look on his face.

We'd feel sorry for him, but we're too busy laughing.

Luke spent the next thirty minutes trying to convince his housemates that he knew it was a joke all along – while weeping mortified tears on the inside. His sly grin and widening eyeballs during the chat with the agent earlier were proof enough that he'd fallen for it.

But he soon became to accept that he'd been played: "They sold it really well", he admitted.  "I was lied to! I feel really embar;assed now."

The real reason for Luke's desolation is because he genuinely seemed to want his own calendar. But if it's any consolation, we're sure Big Brother will let him keep a couple of the pictures to frame for the mantelpiece.

And in return for passing the task, the housemates will be treated to a slideshow of Luke's photo-shoot later this evening, which Luke's already getting worried about.

"Everyone will be laughing at me. I'm so gullible. What if I look fat? What if I look bloated? I'd had a bottle of water just before."

One thing's for certain, he'll never look fat, but what he will look is very, very silly.
