Day 29: Round-up

Day 29 saw Turf Wars break out across the Big Brother House at the command of the ever-present BB.

After Day 28's post nominations rumble, the day began wearily with everyone a little confused about where they stand in the group. Sara was embarrassed about crying, Caroline didn't know who her friends were any more and everyone moped along (after a considerable lie-in), mentally preparing for the weekly shopping task, which didn't take long to arrive.

Housemates were commanded to join their best friend in the House to form a pair, which they did accordingly, little knowing that they'd soon be a House explicitly split in two, with one half of each pair separately going off to join the Blue Team or the Green Team. Various tasks would give housemates in the winning team dominion over different parts of the House, with the losing team plunged into the economy version of whatever that living space happened to be.

For control of the kitchen, the Trolley Dash saw the Blue Team face the Green Team in a tug-o-war with a difference. Competitors were harnessed together and had to push a trolley towards shopping items and bag up a win, one-on-one. The greens took the victory, with their prize being the exclusive use of a bright green kitchen, while the losers experienced their first taste of a more meagre budget. Preparations then began for the day's second task.

Sofa Hoppers involved housemates rating themselves according to different categories, from 'most keen to win' all the way to 'most annoying'. Shievonne headed up for the Blues, while Luke S stepped up for the Greens. The Blues took the prize and they now have sole access to the Living Area.

After the tasks, as housemates settled in for a quiet evening, the old divisions reared their heads, as The Insiders ranted in the bathroom (with hangers on), while The Outsiders locked down in the smoking area, joined by Becky.

Before bed, there was just time for a minor quibble between Deana and Becky, who had a low key falling out over Deana's vocalised body issues. While Becky let off steam in the Diary Room, Luke A, Lauren and Adam chatted in the garden and Deana had a soak to wash away another slightly awkward day in the Big Brother House. Turf Wars begin again tomorrow in earnest.

9.07am: It looks like Big Brother has been up to mischief while the housemates sleep

9.17am: Whoever just farted woke Luke S. Rude.

9.39am: They are awake but there is not much sign of movement. That's what happens when you stay up until 3am

9.50am: Luke S is in the kitchen. The green kitchen. No blues allowed.

10.08am: Caroline can't find her mascara. Perhaps she should think about tidying her bit of the bedroom

  I`ve got one of those here (youngest son) although it`s strange that he knows all the latest goings on but claims he doesn`t watch it much cos it`s a load of rubbish. Same every year    

I`m fine for today again..no problemo     

10.24am: Lauren is having to explain to Royalist Sara that the Duke of Edinburgh not the 'Duke of Wales' is the Queen's husband  

10.40am: Luke A is telling fellow blues that Luke S broke the rules this morning by coming into the blue controlled living room.

10.56am: Shievonne and Scott would like to see some eye candy in the House

11.09am: Lauren and Shievonne are suffering from not having their morning coffee. Lauren wants patches. She's wants to strike.

11.24am: Sara says she would be happy to be evicted in her Turf Wars outfit. Fair enough but she has not even been nominated

11.40am: Shievonne cannot believe Big Brother had the audacity to provide milk but not coffee in the emergency ration pack. 

Day 30: Deana and Adam have it out

11.52am: Arron is speculating about the next task. He thinks it will involve moving buckets of water

12.10pm: Luke S is rapping. It's painful.

12.18pm: Housemates have their costumes for the next task. It looks like they will be will be wearing boiler suits. 

Day 30: A House at war

12.29pm: Luke S thinks it may be a sleeping task. We have one word for him. WRONG

12.45pm: Housemates have been called to the garden. It's task time.

12.50pm: It's for the bathroom. Housemate will be ducking for ducks - retrieving them from a toilet with their mouths 

12.58pm: Despite reading out the rules, Caroline has already broken them. Bless her, she was only trying to help.

1.03pm: Housemates are getting stuck in. Toilets and gunge are a hilarious combination.

Day 30: Duck off

1.11pm: The Blues are covered in gunge and they have no bathroom to rinse off in. Whoops.

Jump in the pool  

1.17pm: They're in the pool. Big Brother is not amused. Nor is Scott. He is claiming sabotage. 

1.30pm: The Greens say the Blues are sore losers. How gracious.

1.43pm: Becky is sporting her green onesie and a green towel wrapped around her hair with pride. She's a vision in green

1.50pm: Caroline is whispering in the kitchen to Shiev and Ashleigh about which competitive housemates "looooove tasks"

Wonder if she included Luke S in her whisperings?

1.57pm: Caroline has revealed to her Blue teammates that she does not like the word "toilet". She prefers "loo".

Looooo

2:03pm: "They might have won the battle, but we'll win the war!" declares Caroline. She's on a roll this afternoon. 

2.16pm: Luke S says if his team wins the bedroom he will let Ashleigh in. Promises, promises. 

Who the hell does he think he is?!  

2.33pm: Shievonne is doing Ashleigh's extensions. Luke S is looking and learning.

2.48pm: Arron says if he was on the Blue team he would be causing trouble and breaking rules. 

There seems to be a problem on the CH5 site. No updates and some clips that were there have disapeppered

Hope it`s fixed soon. As soon as it is, we`ll bring you up to date  

2.58pm: Scott, Becky and Deana are out by the pool. Deana does not seem to be very happy

I see the hour live feed is now only showing as half an hour on 5* Friday night 10.00 - 10.30pm

3.04pm: Adam is talking to Luke A about how his housemates' morality. "Are people only being this way because it's a game show?"

3.12pm: Adam sarcastically asks Luke A if he's going to start "praying to Shievonne" because "everyone else is". oOoooooO.
