It's been a weird week for Arron, the some-time cage fighting model from Manchester. After beating Chris in the public vote, he finds himself in an unspoken semi-love triangle that almost dare not speak its name.

He spent five days fretting when his name was called as Chris the bailiff's eviction rival, but now he's involved in two potentially romantic relationships that appear to be developing over time. And where one is quite blatant and involves the traditional amount of solid, grown-up flirting, the other's far more old skool, with playground tactics dominating the to-ing and fro-ing, possibly fuelled by mutual attraction.

First up, there's Lauren. The pair of them have had flirty interactions from launch night and on Day 13 it seemed they were reaching a new level. A little topless wrestling on the bedroom floor (to clarify, it was only Arron with his shirt off) led to a tender massage today. Arron manipulated the Jersey girl's back as she lay on her front in a brassiere. It's quite possible that this is a coupling that's going places.

But it ain't going anywhere if the Hyde to their Jekyll starts to bear fruit. Deana and Arron have had an ostensibly fractious relationship so far with the friction coming to a head during the No LOL task (when the two had a furious barney whilst Arron was dressed in ridiculous red rubber). Since then, Arron's been hiding her stuff, stealing her chocolate and engaging in water fights with Miss India UK. They talk like they’re sworn enemies, but it looks to the more enquiring eye like there might be more going on there than meets the eye. They do say opposites attract, after all.

She's tried to make herself everything to everyone but there are two men in the House for whom Lydia is no longer a friend. As Adam and Luke A lay sprawled on the sofas outside, they quietly began to discuss who they trust.

"You and Lauren... There was a point when I would have said Lydia but no..." said Luke, sadly, with a one-thousand-yard-stare.

"No," agreed Adam. But one negatory didn't cut it. "No, no, no,"  he added, each syllable containing a world of sullied trust.

"There's an old school saying," said the man who a week ago voted Lydia as his favourite housemate, "Keep your friends close but your enemies closer."

"You don't think Shievonne's like that do you?" asked Luke A.

"No," replied Adam. "I haven't seen her get mad at anyone yet.  It's slowly going to come out."

Before these two soul brothers could lay more home truths on each other, Conor came dashing out.

What news? The owner of a certain item of dirty laundry had been established. Ashleigh!

It was certainly an eventful Day 14, beginning nervously with adiscussion of the day's impending nominations.

To avoid further controversy after his washroom antics became very public (largely thanks to his own explanation),Benedict decided that, going forward, he was going to simplify his rhetoric for the benefit of his housemates. Meanwhile, over the first meal of the day, a trio of the ladies had a grumble together, ahead of their nomination stints in the Diary Room.

But before that, they had to get ready for their one-on-one time with Big Brother. And they also had time to break out inbickering before the deed that had to be done. Conor and Luke S wisely extricated themselves from the melee, spending several hours cooking up a meal to avoid getting involved. Meanwhile, Lauren was getting upset about the way the house dynamic has developed.

But it wasn't all doom and gloom. In the midst of all this fiery feeling, Luke A decided now was the best time for a mini-makeover, getting himself a hair treatment that left him looking pretty slick. To add to this upward curve, after the nominations were said and done, Big Brother lightened the mood by handing out photographs of housemates' family and friends, which warmed cockles to the left, right and in the centre.

Later in the day, the revelation of who's in line for eviction was rolled out. So now we know who might face the boot come Friday, we can settle down for another week of madness in the Big Brother House.
