Day 68: Training day

Broadcasting legend, journalist par excellence and media guru Nina Myskow spent some time in the House earlier, giving our housemates some tips on their future conduct.

Not only that, she also showed them some clips of highlights and lowlights, offering some thoughts on what our five finalists might want to take stock of as they progress forward from their BB experience. It seems to have given the housemates plenty to ponder on. They each came away from their tÊte-à-tÊte having watched a clip of their previous behaviour and, probably as intended, each of the VTs seems to have made an impact.

Housemates decided amongst themselves which order they'd visit the house-guest in and Luke A strode over first to a makeshift boardroom in the garden. Nina showed him the clip of him commenting, under-his-breath and out of earshot, about Becky's BMI. Not his proudest moment, but Nina assured him that it was, at least witty – if a little cruel.

Next up was Luke S, who was less forthcoming with his answers, probably expecting a huge grilling after last night's gruelling Bit On The Side. Nina was less cruel than he might've expected, though she did remind him of that 'men want to be me, women want to be with me' clip. But she praised the fact that he's in touch with his sensitive side and let him know that the Lushleigh romance had warmed a lot of hearts.

Sara was up next and Nina wasted no time in telling her she'd been true to herself and that her general demeanour had earned her a lot of fans. Then it was onto the criticism, and Nina replayed the clip of when she remonstrated with Scott over his naughty career plans. Nina encouraged her to channel her passion and morality – advice which Sara was happy to take on board.

Deana looked nervous when she approached Nina's den and she shrunk back in her seat when shown the clip of when she mocked Luke S about his lackadaisical button pushing. There was admittedly plenty to cringe at, but Nina told her she had nothing to worry about and that she had shown a huge amount of strength in the House. Deana walked away looking disappointed with herself, despite the fact Nina was practically calling after her with further praise.

Finally, Adam took to Nina's hotseat and was shown the clip of his milky anchovy tipping, in which he served revenge on Arron stone cold. He was unrepentant and Nina said he didn't need to apologise as far as she could see. He faltered when asked what he planned to do post-BB, clearly envisioning himself continuing with his work rehabilitating young people with addiction issues.

Our Bit On The Side regular and industry expert Nina seemed thoroughly impressed by our final five by the time she was done. As, indeed, she should be. They're a thoroughly impressive bunch, are they not?
